Our journey begins with a sightseeing tour of the historical and cultural monuments in Kathmandu: the temples, shrines, gompas, stupas, bazaars, streets and monuments. The next day, head for an exhilarating mountain flight to Hillary Airport in Lukla.
Then, make a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas, where we are greeted by spectacular mountain vistas. We continue our trek following the trail to a famous vantage point, Kala Patthar, which offers a marvelous 360-degree panorama of the Himalayas. After reaching our target of Everest Base Camp, we trek back down to Lukla for a return flight to Kathmandu.

Tamang Heritage Trail offers the natural excellence, traditional cultures, Buddhist way of living, rich architecture of their mountain house, wilderness experience, antiquated monasteries and excellent scenes of alpine terrain. The Tamang Heitage Trails is a new trekking trail that offers the Himlalayan life style, culture and their society. The trail follows through traditional Tamang villages where culture, their lifestyle and crafts have remained unaltered since the beginning of the settlement. Tamang Heritage trail trekking begins either from Dhunche or Syabrubesi and passes through Goljung, Gatlang, Chilime, Thuman, Timure and Briddim. Goljung and Gatlang are traditional Tamang villages. Goljung has ancient monastery and Gatlang set high on a slope around terraced fields is the Tamang settlement where we can visit a Tamang monastery and the lovely Parvatikunda Lake. The surrounding perspective of delightful mountains like Langtang, Kerung, Ganesh Himal, Sanjen Himal awaits at Bahundanda, the viewpoint situated near these settlements.

The big mountain scenery of Manaslu and Ganesh is astonishing. There’s the two-horned massif of Manaslu (8156m), the circumnavigation of which is a meditation on the wonders of Himalayan geology. There’s Ganesh Himal (7406m), named for the serpentine southern ridge that evokes the elephant-headed Hindu god of good fortune. And then there’s Himalchuli (7893m), which rises an incredible 7000m from the Marsyangdi River. Nestled in between these Himalayan giants are villages that draw from Hindu and Buddhist influences. Join us on this Gokyo Lakes and Renjo La Pass tour and get the chance to discover the headwater of the mighty Dudh Kosi River. We will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to the airport on the first day of the tour. Catch the flight to Lukla and enjoy scenic views of the Himalayas in case the weather is clear. From Lukla, the trail travels past Phakding, Namche Bazaar and Dole before you reach Machhermo.
Explore the Gokyo lakes and see 3 of the 6 lakes in the area. Climb atop Gokyo Ri and enjoy magnificent views of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Thamserku and Nuptse, among other mountains. Then, cross Renjo La Pass on day 8 before starting your descent. We will drop you off at your hotel upon arrival in Kathmandu on the last day of the tour.
