Tour To Sani Pass & Lesotho - February 2027

Tour to Sani Pass & Lesotho - February 2027

The tour leaves from Durban to the Sani Pass 6.30am in the morning. It is a 3.5 hours journey to Sani Pass and along the way we will make the following stops: - Pietermaritzburg the capital of KwaZulu Natal where we visit some Mahatma Gandhi statues. - Scenery stop along the way - Visit the Holy Trinity Church, and also visit RDP (Rural Development Plan Housing) Mr Mandela's dream for the under privileged people of South Africans. The Sani Pass is a 33km gravel road that straddles the sheer cliffs of the Drakensberg escarpment in a series of tight Zig Zag curves. The route begins at the Sani Pass Hotel which is 1566m above sea level. You will be traveling in a Land Rover 4x4 upwards along the narrow road crossing the South African/ Lesotho border post which is 1968m above sea level. Along the way up the South African landscape KwaZulu Natal opens up in front of you displaying spectacular views of rolling hills and vast skies. We visit the local village and interact with the local and also taste their delicious home made bread. If the weather is good we reach the black mountains the highest point in Lesotho at an altitude of 3200 meters. You can enjoy a delicious lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa at your own account which sits 2873m above sea level. At around 3.30 pm we start to drive back to Durban where we will be returning around 7 pm. The trip is around 12 to 13 hours, but it is all worth it. We invite you to join us on this exciting day excursion.

Durban City Tour - February 2027

Set off from the Berea, learning about Durban’s origins and take in the skyline from our favourite lookout point. We then make our way to the commuter’s daily crossroad, Warwick Triangle, indulging our senses in the vibrant diversity of the Victoria, Muti and Early Morning Markets. Engage with citizens as you explore the arcades that further criss-cross the city, and educate your palate with a true testament of Durban’s Indian culinary heritage- the “bunny chow”. Stretch your legs with a walk around the historic city centre, from City Hall to the inner city gardens and end off the trip with a scenic drive along Durban’s harbour, Africa’s busiest port.

Beautiful Cape Wine Lands - February 2027

Beautiful Cape Wine Lands - February 2027

The Cape wine lands are divided into various different regions, each offering their own ‘wine route’. The most popular and well-known are Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Wellington and Paarl. The wine farms of Stellenbosch are the closest in distance to Cape Town and are within a 45-minute drive of the city centre. This is the most well known wine region and is home to a variety of cellars, producing some of the country’s most acclaimed wines. The old town of Stellenbosch (1650) is a university town and the oak-lined almost original Dorp Straat is home to museums and galleries as well as many student cafes and restaurants. The Cape Winelands Tour is a private tour that can be adapted to your personal interests without additional costs. It takes about 9 hours to complete this tour.

Zulu Oracle & Herbalist Experience Tour - February 2027

Zulu Oracle & Herbalist Experience Tour - February 2027

Enjoy a uniquely Zulu experience with a visit to a traditional Zulu oracle, diviner and herbalist. An inyanga or a sangoma is a traditional medicine practitioner or shaman of the Zulu people in South Africa. They can communicate with your ancestors, work with plant-based medicines and use the power of prayer for healing. While most practice all three forms, you will find others that work solely with one or any combination of these methods. Their training varies depending on family lineage and land location. However, what they all have in common is a calling to serve their families, their communities and the Earth. The inyanga/sangoma stay in the picturesque area of Molweni. There you will have the opportunity to consult with a local inyanga/sangoma in a traditional Zulu experience. The consultation lasts about 45 minutes with the use of traditional methods like bone-throwing to connect with ancestors and convey the information he receives.

Addo Elephant Park Day Safari - February 2027

Pick up at the quayside in the Port Elizabeth harbour and depart for the Addo Elephant National Park, approximately 35 minutes’ drive from the harbour to the entrance. After check in and a comfort break we immediately start the days game viewing experience.   The park is home to more than 600 free roaming Elephants and a wide variety of wildlife such as Zebra, Warthog, Ostrich, the elegant Kudu and many more including the traditional BIG 5, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Rhino and of course the Elephants. Making our way through the park from south to north we stop for a light lunch at the parks restaurant before once again heading south, game viewing along the way in this world class facility before returning to the Port Elizabeth harbour and drop off at the quayside.
