Our tour was nothing short of exciting and wonderful. I loved exploring history having a well rounded, knowledgeable tour guide by my side. I didn't know what to expect, all I can say is was fantastic. Luke & Craig were exceptional they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was a problem. Luke is the best tour leader we've ever had. These are full days packed with lots of information, the bus and all the people in it become family. You don’t have to be fit but there is a lot of walking. They help to get you into places where you’d otherwise have to queue up for hours. Amazing scenery
Join us on a jam-packed Loch Ness tour from Inverness and enjoy many iconic Scottish experiences in just one day. Our adventure begins at the legendary loch, where you will take a cruise and visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle for ideal Loch Ness monster spotting opportunities. After lunch in beautiful Beauly, we visit a Highland whisky distillery, where the best way to learn about the ‘water of life’ is to taste it! Learn the true story which inspired Outlander at Culloden Battlefield and attempt your own journey through the stones at Clava Cairns. We return to Inverness in the early evening.
During winter, the route goes in reverse.
This was my first trip with Explore but I hope it will not be my last. The trip was great, the food and accommodations were better than expected, and the guides were exceptional.
