In this excursion, Lácar Lake is bordered by a gravel road that is on the opposite side of Route 40, the road is very entertaining: a zigzagging circuit immersed in the forest, with different viewpoints towards the mountain range and towards Lake Lacar. One of the most colorful sites is a magnificent rock formation, called Piedra Trompul.
During the excursion, you can observe the transition from the Patagonian Andean forest to the Valdivian forest. Then we cross the border with Chile, through the lowest pass of the whole Andes mountain range and we reach the Cristo de la Paz
