A wonderfully guided trek in a beautiful country. The variety of landscape, fauna and flora amazing. lovely tea house. my guide and porter looked after extremely well. took account of my abilities and checked my breathing was ok as we went on. The timing of starting out was perfect and we were the first people on the Thorang La to see the sunrise. He took account of my wishes and consulted me on the walk each day. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience.

Upper Mustang Trekking offers a great opportunity to get insights into Trans Himalayan region of Annapurna which is quite similar to Tibetan trans-Himalayan topography. The best time to trek around Upper Mustang Trek is from the month of March to November. On this 14-day guided trek, take an expedition to the lap of the stunning Annapurna Range. The Annapurna Sanctuary houses Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world at elevation of 8,091 metres, and 13 other peaks over 7,000 metres and 16 more over 6,000 metres. The pristine, protected landscape takes you through numerous cascading waterfalls, lush rhododendron forests, quaint villages and moraines to a stunning amphitheatre-esque viewpoint of the Himalayas.
Your journey starts from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Take a tour of its major landmarks (entrance fees not included) before flying to Pokhara where your trek officially begins. Ascend and descend through valleys, terraced fields and stone steps to reach your end destination: the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
Autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The weather is sunny and warm with outstanding, clear views of the snowcapped mountains. If you wish to avoid crowds and enjoy some alone time in nature, then taking this trip during winter (December to February) could also be an option. However, the temperature during winters are harsh, while there are chances of rain during summer or monsoon seasons (June to August).

We booked our Annapurna Circuit trek and Chitwan visit and I must say everything was arranged perfectly! Very rapid and clear communication before we got to Nepal and great service once we arrived. Our guide was terrific and taught us a lot about Nepal and the mountains! He had a lot of knowledge and a good grasp of English. Every evening we enjoyed his company together with the rest of the team (guides and porters) to play some Nepalese card games. Tent Peak (or Tharpu Chuli), a 5695m/18,679 ft peak is one of the most beautiful trekking peaks in Nepal. It lies within the Annapurna region of Nepal at the top of the Annapurna Sanctuary. First summited in 1964 by a Japanese group on an expedition to Annapurna South led by Dr Haruo Higuchi, Tent Peak is renowned for its views of the whole Annapurna range and Machapuchare.
