We took Jeep to Dharapani then walk. Our Guide try to skip the road but still we had to walk some part along the road. via Upper Pisang to Ghyaru and Ghyaru to Ngawal to Manang was nice .

I went solo in low season (Jan) and it was amazing! It was cold at night, but i had the trail and all of the lodges to myself. That's how I like it. If you prefer a more solitary experience, this is the time to do it. Also, blue skies the entire time. I did 12 days that included Poon Hill and Anapurna Base Camp. Ramesh was my guide and he was the best! He really knows his stuff took care of everything. Such a great person too. I had been wanting to do this for 20 years and I was not disappointed. Seriously the trip of a lifetime. This outfit was recommended to me by word-of-mouth, and I'm telling everyone who will listen to come to Nepal and get into the mountains with these guys!

The AP mini circuit has to be considered as a viable alternative to the full circuit(which I have not done) - if you have a fortnight and are confident of your trekking abilities, you will get all the thrill of the trek up the Valley and over the 5416m pass , a descent through the incredible Mustang valley on the other side followed by a memorable flight past the AP range back to Pokhara .

The trail starts right from Besisahar and follows river Marshyandi to its source, catching the enchanting mountain views of Mount Manasalu and Himal Chuli to the east. Our guide, Sudarshan kc, was the best guide I've had on any Explore trip I've done (4, so far). He was really knowledgeable, gentle, warm, funny, & friendly, he looked after our group fantastically. Nothing was too much trouble, his recurrent phrase was 'anything is possible'. The tour itself was brilliant & flowed really well, despite the longer road journeys due to the landslides that had occurred a few wks before. In fact, I'd go as far to say those journeys were actually quite an adventure in themselves! For me, it was a perfect trip, the 4 days trekking were amazing, challenging at times, but worth the effort to see the stunning views of the mountains. The teahouses were simple but really welcoming, & in fab locations for views. Pokhara was a beautiful place for a bit of a rest, the calm lake, great shopping, & places to eat. Chitwan was outstanding, especially with the rhino sightings, & close encounters!
I was lucky to have a great group of people to travel with too, which made the trip a lot of fun.
Kathmandu is exactly what you'd expect, a city full of life, bustling traffic & historic sights. People are very warm & friendly.
I'd recommend this trip wholeheartedly.
