In April 2025 we set off on a trek with the aim of climbing Mera Peak. The journey took us a total of 16 days. The trek was very well organised, thanks to our great guide Chhiyang Banapish we always knew what to expect the next day, we always had enough water and food on the way, he always arranged good accommodation for us and togeher with the porter they took great care of our comfort and safety. I really appreciate that we went the whole way with one guide, who managed to get to know us during that time (I do not recommend going with a trekking guide and changing guides in Khare, they do not know you, they do not know how you have fared on the trek up to that point). Our guide was very reliable, thanks to him and his proper guidance and sufficient acclimatisation, we managed to reach the summit, although I was tired, but he was able to motivate me and really accompany me to the summit. I would like to thank him and our porter very much, as well as the agency. I would definitely use their services again next time.

I travelled alone in the 2nd week of October. Weather was pretty good (only showers in the evening) and sunrises in Poon Hill and Tadapani just amazing. It wasn't as cold as expected and could do without a sleeping bag. The trek is great to get a taste of Nepal beyond the cities, offers lots of opportunities for protography, and can be done even by people with no head for heights (you don't have to be "schwindelfrei"). Deepak -my guide- was incredibly helpful, adjusting to my pace while keeping the tempo, helping all the time and even looking for "Shiva trees" to shoot. Thank you very much! I and my partner did Upper Mustang Trek with Himalayanleisure in June 2018. It was a great experience. The flights couldn't happen due to bad weather so we took a private jeep which was an adventure. The trek was arranged nicely and the staffs were very caring. Our guide and porter made the trek possible. It is a beautiful trek I can recommend to other people in rainy season in Nepal. The Manaslu region was diverse in climates (warm, dry valleys - to lush rainforest - to snow capped peaks) and there was a tonne of wildlife to see and experience.
