This local travel specialist was an excellent choice for our big adventure trip to Everest base camp. I did a lot of research before booking a trip and saw that they had the best reviews online. Our guide Ram and assistant Rabi were amazing. They made the trip even better. They were very caring and helpful. They choose a best guest house in all locations, and we did not have to worry about where to stay, what to eat etc. I highly recommend this agency and will hopefully get a chance to use them again!

Great service, amazing experience and great adventure in the mountains!! Gokyo Cho La Pass trek with this tour agency is highly recommended. The agency is an expert in Manaslu region, Karma made all the preparations very smooth. I am a solo traveler and he helped me to find a group. All the communication was very smooth and I always got quick answers. Despite the tight schedule, the agency managed to get all the permits, and we left for the trek the day after arriving in Kathmandu. Karma and Nima are knowledgeable, responsible and funny guide/supporter, who made sure we had the best experience during the trek:) We loved the nature, villages, mountain views. I would love to return to Nepal and explore new parts of this beautiful country with this company.

Trekking around the Gokyo valley offers wonderful views of the mountain peaks and the Ngozumpa Glacier- one of the largest in the world. This trek guarantees the most remarkable views of some of the infamous “eight-thousanders” including Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar and Makalu, which are clearly visible from Gokyo Ri (5360m.) Undoubtedly, one of the most unforgettable sights on this trip will be the view of the spectacular ice point between Cho Oyu (8201m) and Gyachung Kang (7952m) in the Khumbu region.
After a thrilling flight to Tenzing/Hillary airport at Lukla, the adventure really begins. We begin the climb passing Buddhist monasteries and memorials that stand amongst the most captivating backdrops you will have ever seen. You will be seduced by snow capped mountains enveloping tranquil, traditional Sherpa villages and celebrate as you reach altitudes of over 5000m. The trek aspires to reach Gokyo Ri and the glistening waters of the Gokyo Lakes, the world’s highest fresh water lake system.
I booked this trek at quite short notice in September 2018.
My schedule was a bit tight so I had to cut the trip short from the standard 12 days down to 11, but this was no problem for Friends adventure who were able to fit the trek in plus an extra day of whitewater rafting as well.
Hira, my guide, was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly and made sure everything went to plan, so that I managed to make it to Base Camp and Kala Pathar as well (and I'm an unfit 50 year old who hadn't really done enough training).
The trek itself was spectacular and everything I'd hoped it would be.
I would definitely recommend Friends Adventure to anyone planning a trip to Nepal.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to make sure everything went smoothly (organizing the trek accommodation, helping with the flight and helping with each meal). I had a fantastic trekking trip to the Island Peak, organized by the local operator. The hotels were good and the guide became a close friend of mine. Additionally they were able to change the date of the flight-out of Lukla without any problems. If I ever will do another trekkingtour in Nepal I definitly go back to ACH and I just can recommand to everbody else to do the same!!

If you're planning to do a trek in Nepal, this local travel specialist is the way to go! I recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with them and had the most amazing experience. As a solo female traveler, I wanted to make sure to use a reputable company that I felt comfortable with and this agency far exceeded all of my expectations. They were extremely professional and quick to respond to any of the questions I had before the trip. Everything was so organized, from airport pickup/ drop off to the daily itinerary of the trek itself. My guide, Dipak, was also amazing! He truly went above and beyond to make sure that I had the trip of a lifetime. He was so knowledgeable about the region and about high altitude trekking in general. I felt extremely taken care of the entire time and also felt like I had a new best friend! He offered to help take photos and videos throughout the trek, which was amazing and even put together daily videos of each days highlights. I was able to truly just take the whole experience in. We had a blast going to EBC base camp last september. Me and friends booked our trip via this local travel specialist and they organized the whole trip so well. Guides and porters we also very cheerful and always smiling. We enjoyed the every moment during our trek. Everest Panorama Trek offers you the stunning view of these mountains: Tawache (6,510 m), Nuptse (7,861 m), Ama Dablam (6,856 m), Thamserku (6,648 m), Kongde Ri (6,187 m), Kusum Kangaroo (6,367 m), Kamtega (6782 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Peak 38, Cholache, Kongde, and Mt. Everest (8,848 m). Of all, Ama Dablam is one the most beautiful mountain in the world.
Everest Panorama Trek also takes you to Namche Bazaar, the largest village of the Everest region, as well as Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery of the Everest region. Inside the monastery are incredibly wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. You will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or in the morning depending on how the trekking goes.
