The tour takes you to the highlights of Morocco. My favorite memories are the Medina in Fes and the Sunset excursion to the Sahara Desert.
Our guide was very informative.
One downside of trip was all the traveling although there were breaks. There really was no time to enjoy the hotel amenities.
Food was plentiful.Moroccan wine lacks complexity.

We recently completed this tour, and it was an absolutely mesmerizing experience. From the moment we left Marrakech, we were taken on a journey through some of Morocco's most stunning landscapes, including the majestic High Atlas Mountains, the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and the vast, serene dunes of Erg Chigaga. The drive was long but scenic, and every stop offered a chance to appreciate Morocco’s history and natural beauty, from ancient kasbahs to lush oases. Spending the night in the desert under a blanket of stars was a highlight—our camp was luxurious, with comfortable beds and an authentic Moroccan ambiance. Riding camels across the dunes at sunset was an unforgettable experience.
A huge part of what made this tour so special was our driver, Hakim. He was not only an excellent driver but also a fantastic guide, sharing his extensive knowledge of Morocco’s history, culture, and geography. Hakim made us feel safe and well-cared for throughout the entire journey, and his friendly demeanor and sense of humor added a personal touch to the trip. His expert driving skills ensured a smooth and comfortable ride, even on the rough desert roads, and he was always ready to make stops for photo opportunities or interesting landmarks. Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Sahara in style.

Walking through ancient ruins, sailing along the Aegean, and exploring Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar—every day was an adventure! Highly recommend this trip for history lovers!
The tour was a total of 15 days, and while fast-paced, the overall experience was magnificent! The locations visited were breathtaking, and the knowledge provided by our tour guide Ramez was unsurpassed. I cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond in making everyone feel welcome and safe during the tour while bringing much fun to the adventure. Great thought went into the planning of the itinerary (particularly in Egypt), so that we would visit attractions at times when both crowds and the heat were minimal. Favourite activities included visiting the Valley of the Kings (including the sunrise hot air balloon ride over the region), Abu Simbel, and the overnight felucca ride which included dancing and merryment around a fire for a group member's birthday. Everything worked slick; the map on the app worked great, our bags got moved, the places we stayed at were very fine. The only hiccup we had was at the last stop at Berchules; the innkeeper had not been told that we were supposed to have dinner with them. It wasn’t a big deal as we just went to the local pub.
We really enjoyed our trip. All information was clear so didn't have any questions. Walks not very hard. Amazing views. Decent hotels. Clean. We left in the morning and came back in the evening. Hotel in Agerolo was lovely. Public transport was very confusing in Amalfi. No clear information where the bus stops. We had to to push to get on the bus with the third attempt.
Nearly missed stop in Pompey as all windows were in white dots and could not see passing stations. No screen or announcement. Use Google Map. We met lots of tourists from around the world in towns and had interesting conversations. I wish we had more time in Pompei and regret that we didn't hire a guide. The trip was a good combination of nature, history, cuisine, culture and people. I have to say in the last stay in B&B in Naples the receptionist Italian lady was wonderful. She didn't speak English so we used Google translate and it was an interesting experience. She hugged and kissed us as we were her best nephews. Such a lovely lady. I almost didn’t book this trip, thinking I’d be “too old for a cruise tour” or that it would be rushed, crowded, or filled with too much sightseeing and not enough space to breathe. But let me tell you, this tour completely changed my mind. It wasn’t just doable it was deeply enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully organized, accessible, and paced just right for someone like me in my early 60s who still loves to explore but isn’t looking to be on the go from dawn to dusk without a pause.
We traveled as a group yes but it never felt like we were being shuffled from one place to the next. There was enough structure to feel secure and taken care of but also these little pockets of stillness that I didn’t expect... a quiet cup of coffee on the cruise deck while the Nile slowly moved past even a moment of meditation I did on my own by the river. Those little moments made all the difference.
The temples were something else. Edfu and Philae in particular struck me, not just because of their size or detail, but their presence. There’s a certain quiet power in these places that you only feel by standing there in person. And then of course the Grand Pyramids. I thought I’d seen them already in books and documentaries, but being there… it gave me chills. There’s something about seeing them up close that stirs something ancient and humbling in you.
I came home with more than just photos...I came back with a sense of connection to something much bigger than myself. This tour wasn’t just a vacation. It was an experience that touched me deeply, at just the right pace, and reminded me that it’s never too late to feel wonder again.
