You will then be transferred by private A/C vehicle to the West Bank where you will visit the Valley Of The Kings. The valley represents the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial and there are many kings buried in this valley. The most famous tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and Amonhotep II. We follow this by a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Dir El Bahari. The temple was built by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C). She was the only pharaonic woman to reign over ancient Egypt. We continue our day tour to the Colossi of Memnon which are remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Around noon-afternoon we will transfer you back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.

This trip was fantastic. We participated in most of the optional extras. The best of which was the Balloon ride for the sunrise over the tombs and Nile. Our local explore tour guide Mariam was marvellous and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much for her. She told us so much interesting information All sites seen in Cairo and on route were wonderful. The Cruise too was a joy. The optional light show in Karnak was not what was expected and I would say give it a miss! The beach extension hotel was clean, pools good, food excellent. The optional snorkelling by a local provider was a great disappointment and not what we had hoped for. Not many fish and not a good reef. But the boat trip was enjoyable too. There is are some areas of hotel need updating. Mini Golf/crazy golf course needs attention. Evening entertainment could have been better, but all in all we had a good relaxing 4 days there.
