Overall a great trip with a phenomenal CEO in JC however the Puno portion of the trip and the kayaking left a bad taste in the mouth. It very much felt that we were being shipped to different locations just to give people money for things we didn?t want and the kayaking itself was just an hour and a half of straight paddling from one island to another. I would recommend avoiding Puno if possible.

We decided to include a city tour of Cusco instead of the Humantay Lake hike as this would have been to strenuous for one of our friends, and this decision was perfect. During our time in Peru, Pilar was exceptional with 24/7 assistance, helping us make reservations in restaurants and being there for us no matter what. Superb! All the sites visited were worth it. Not too many people (except from Machu Picchu which was very crowded of course) and what we loved was that we arrived before the crowds. The company promised big time on that and they OVERDELIVERED! I contracted the tour to Peru with a travel agency in Mexico, so I cannot comment on prices. What I can comment on is the excellent service of Lima Tours. In all the tours they were punctual, dedicated and with very friendly and educated guides. We almost couldn't do the tour to the 7-color mountain because the day we had to do it, road closures were announced due to carrier blockades. The agency, through our guide MIGUEL ANGEL planned a "madruguete" (literal), they picked us up at 3 in the morning to avoid the blockades and be able to carry out the tour. I must mention that the visit to the mountain was the most anticipated of the entire trip for my wife, so it would have been frustrating if we hadn't made it. In addition, in Cusco I forgot some things at the hotel (including money) and Lima Tours, in coordination with the hotel, sent my forgotten objects to Lima. The Lima Tours agency is highly recommended.
