Enjoyed a fantastic trip in Austria. The waymarks on the track were very good, the accommodation was comfortable and the hosts at the accommodation were excellent and very helpful, especially Jeff from Jeff's in Goisern. Also, the luggage always arrived as planned. A wonderful trip and very scenic walk.

Cycle from Salzburg in the picturesque Austrian Lakes District to Vienna via the Danube River valley. A unique cycle journey to experience the very best of Austria's sublime scenery, from the deep blue lakes of Salzkammergut, known as Austria's Lakes District, to the majestic Danube River, renowned for its vineyards, castles and historic towns. From Mozart's home town, Salzburg, the cycle route heads east to the banks of several lakes including Mondsee and Attersee. There is ample time to explore the valleys and small towns in the vicinity before continuing to the Danube and the town of Linz. Following the Danube bends past monasteries, and the UNESCO listed Wachau Valley, famous for its wines and classic scenery, the cycling ends in the magnificent city of Vienna.
As Central Europe's third largest lake, cycling around the lake is special in that you visit all three countries in a week. Hosting a huge 270km lakeside cycling path, it's a beautifully flat journey from one country to the next, where you'll take in the sights and scents of cherry orchards, wildflower fields and daisy-strewn meadows.
Cross the mighty Rhine Delta that straddles the border between Austria and Switzerland and encounter wonderful wildlife, including kingfishers hidden in the reeds. Take a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters during stop-offs, visit half-timbered frescoed towns for lunch (kretzer (perch) and zander (pike-perch) are Konstanz specialities), and then admire the myriad of Baroque churches and Gothic cathedrals.

For chocolate-lovers, mediaeval Stein am Rhein boasts an array of lovely chocolate shops, and you can visit the 11th century monastery while you're there.

Overall the trip was good however the Hotels at certain places ADONIS EXCELLIOR GRAND GENEVE was not of standard quality. We were very disappointed with the night stay at FELDKIRCH. There was NO reason to make passengers stay in such a BORING place There is Nothing to do there besides we dropped at 5PM here so entire evening was a waste....there was no net connection at Hotel HOTEL CENTRAL LOWEN even after paying for it....all shops etc closed so basically a total waste of money and time Instead you can give more time in Lucerne where people can enjoy nightlife or evening time...suggest you to remove Feldkirch stay and give night stay at some more entertaining place. Also You should have offered the boat trip at Rhine falls .....we missed it Certain places the time given was too much to explore a small town....our tour guide Ms Maria was AMAZING...she was very caring and gave timely information to us at all places. We would recommend to educate guests more on the available restaurants near the Hotels you choose as we clients find it difficult to walk and explore options after a long day....if you give few restaurant names close to Hotel it will be of help Again overall a good experience however small improvements required on planning Hotels and routing. Our cycle tour was a special birthday celebration for me and my sisters 60th year and it didn’t disappoint. The tour was very well organised, from the information we received when collecting our bikes, the maps and additional info, to the collecting of our luggage every morning and the delivery of the luggage to the next destination. We had paid extra for 4 star hotels and whilst most of them were lovely there was one hotel that was definitely not a 4 star hotel. We were very lucky with the weather, and thoroughly enjoyed every day cycling along the stunningly beautiful Danube. Truly a holiday to remember. As a result of this experience we are eagerly planning our next cycling holiday.

Our bicycling trip (Passau to Vienna) was a wonderful family adventure for myself, my husband, and our adult son and daughter (ages 28 and 26). Everything was extremely well-organized by the tour operator, and the staff there quickly responded to any questions or issues that arose, both before our travels and during. We had some difficulty locating the place where we were to pick up the bikes despite following the instructions provided, and few people in the area seemed to know of them. We eventually found it, but as it was raining hard, we were all somewhat sleep-deprived, and the distance from our hotel was longer than we had expected with only major roads on which to travel, we asked the bike rental company for a ride back to our hotel, which they did for 60 Euros. That process felt more stressful than necessary, but once we started out the next morning from Passau, everything was perfect. We loved biking along the Danube - the paths are well marked, the scenery is stunning, and the information provided by the operator was extremely useful. We would definitely book again with this operator and look forward to our next adventure!

An exciting family cycling adventure along a flat, traffic free section of the Danube River. This flat stretch of the Danube which is free of traffic and packed full of attractions, is an ideal introduction to cycle touring for all of the family. There is plenty of variety including a donkey adventure, boat rides on the Danube, historic sites such as the Melk Monastery and beautiful landscapes that will inspire children and adults alike. The path is completely paved and follows the river for most of the itinerary. The picturesque riverside region of the Wachau Valley leads you to the town of Spitz. From there you can visit Melk by boat, have some fun at the donkey farm and explore the surrounds. On arrival in Vienna there is a world of music and food for all to embrace.

We enjoyed this self guided cycling trip from Prague to Vienna. Accommodation was fantastic, the bikes great and the terrain a mix of forest, cycle paths and quiet country roads. At the end of each day we had UNESCO listed towns to explore. All the details were taken care of. Thank you!
