This trip provided a comprehensive overview of Ireland that whets one's appetite to know and see more about this beautiful country and its people. The highlights are just that as it is a complicated history and the natural beauty is apparent wherever one travels. The level of activity requires a good deal of walking and the pace is spirited. It meets the high standard of both G Adventures and National Geographic.

Going through all castles, driving through the countryside and learning all about the history of Ireland. The culture and traditions of Ireland and the ways the food was prepared and try different pubs for the food and atmosphere in a pub. Overall it was a good experience to learn about Ireland.
For my first trip to Ireland, it was the perfect tour to see so much of this beautiful country. Our accommodations were first class, the meals included were delicious, along with all of the excursions planned. Everything was excellent!
Thank you! It was a dream come true.
We did go 2 days early to Dublin before the tour and stayed an extra day in Dublin at the end. That was a perfect way to see and do more of Dublin and give us time on our own to explore.
Tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable on everything from the history of where we were, to places to eat, to myths, legends and local stories. The driver was phenomenal and I have motion sickness which was never an issue with him behind the wheel. Would recommend to anyone who like me, wants a trip where they can just truly relax and enjoy knowing everything will go smoothly.
Loved all the accommodations. Loved all the places we visited. Loved the storyteller. One glaring omission was no trad music or dance was included. Seemed to be sort of a glaring oversight. Bus driver was amazing. Tour manager provided excellent insight into the history of his country. His talks were detailed and thorough. Included meals were ok but not fabulous, with 2 exceptions: Rory’s in Dublin was outstanding & the place before we went to Guinness tour was wonderful too. Never seemed to really ‘click’ with the manager. I found him a bit condescending to me personally. But he had a definite favorite because she always sat up in the front of the bus. Several of us were quite miffed about that! He let 2 ladies traveling single take up both front seats on more than one occasion. Several of us couples thought that wasn’t fair. Other than me not getting along well with the tour manager, we absolutely loved this tour & would very highly recommend it to anyone.

The entire trip was wonderful. I’m unable to single out just one city or experience because I enjoyed it all equally. I signed up for every optional experience and was not disappointed. I loved the ruins and the history from both our tour director and the specialists brought on in various areas.

These are full days packed with lots of information, the bus and all the people in it become family. You don’t have to be fit but there is a lot of walking. They help to get you into places where you’d otherwise have to queue up for hours. Amazing scenery
Fantastic trip director and bus driver, Karin Reum and Noel. They made the trip a total experience with laughter, merriment, and compassion along our journey. Great itinerary, hotels, staff at the hotels and restaurants were extraordinary, and side excursions were great fun. I worked in the incentive travel industry for 30 years and I have to say this group was the best of the best. They really cared about our well being and always over delivered with little surprises to go above and beyond. The motor coach was awesome too! Exceeded my expectations!!
