We had a fantastic trip doing the Portuguese Coastal Camino with this company. Our accomodation was great, bags were always there when we arrived hot and tired at our destination and Julia and Melissa, the agents who organised our trip were amazing. We had lots of queries and questions which they always responded to quickly and professionally which we were very grateful for.

What a fabulous week we had walking in Andalucía, Spain in and around the National Park of Grazalema. Everything worked perfectly: from collection at the train station, great accommodation, transference of baggage and taxi collection between villages. Our hosts where helpful and the accommodation of an excellent standard. And then there was the walk - sublime! A diverse range of tracks through magnificent landscapes, over rocky mountains, across high plains, along paths lined with wild flowers taller than me, and beside rivers. As we were walking in June, there were no other walkers, so if you are planning to walk and socialise, pick a cooler time of year. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!
Stunning coastal paths, delicious Catalan food and wine and a fantastic tour leader who was brilliant at tailoring the experiences to our various preferences. Our trip included a variety of different experiences - from hiking beautiful coastal paths, to spotting exotic birds in a nature reserve, to wine tasting at an architecturally-renowned winery, to exploring Dali's weird and wonderful summer house.

The itinerary was perfectly curated, allowing us to see so much in just 10 days without feeling rushed. I particularly enjoyed the blend of city tours and beautiful coastal views. As a senior I found the two longer mileage days a bit of a challenge but overall it was a great walking holiday. The hotels and the food were excellent. I especially enjoyed the boat trip, as well as walking the final three days to Santiago, like real pilgrims. The medieval border town of Tui was fascinating. I loved the stone and water route on Day 6. Sadly we had to walk the last 5 miles to Santiago in the rain, which was disappointing. The scenery was varied along the way although I found some sections alongside the road tedious.

They did everything they promised, but it is what they did above & beyond that stands them apart. We were caught in the fires in Portugal & they arranged transport to get us out of danger, changed hotel bookings to accommodate the new circumstances & made us feel very safe. We were more than impressed with the level of communication & service. I won't be looking anywhere else when I book my next trip.

A self guided walk along the original Camino trail used by pilgrims walking to Santiago de Compostela. The pilgrim's trail to Santiago de Compostela is one of the great historical 'long distance footpaths' through Europe. According to legend, it all began in the 9th century when the bones of the apostle St James, beheaded in Palestine, miraculously appeared in a village in what is now Galicia. Word spread around the Christian world, reaching (among others) King Alfonso II of Asturias. He undertook the pilgrimage, travelling through dark woods and daunting mountains, from Oviedo to Lugo to Santiago and invited fellow kings and noblemen to follow in his footsteps. The 'original' route became very popular in the early Middle Ages when areas south of the Cantabrian mountains were continuously at war. Walked by millions of 'peregrinos' over the centuries, this self-guided walk reveals the beautiful natural settings, captivating historical monuments, gorgeous rural farmland and authentically friendly villages of northern Spain. Near Lugo, the 'Camino Primitivo' joins the more popular French route.

We take you from the cauldron of Bandama whose eruption, over 2,000 years ago, influenced the entire geography of the island, to the emblematic Roque Nublo, an imposing natural crag made of volcanic rock from which there are 360 degree views of the whole island. Then there is Gran Canaria's vibrant and colourful capital, Las Palmas, where you can step back in time in the city's charming historic old quarter.
You spend your first three nights at the La Hacienda del Buen Suceso, located in a quiet and tranquil setting above the village of Arucas, the Hacienda was once a country estate and has perfectly retained all its colonial charm.
