Food for the soul! - A week of stunning scenery and good company led by Cosmin and Katerina, both of whom's passion for Romania's wildlife and culture is inspirational.
Accommodation excellent, but could be a little less hotel chain like.
Itinerary is busy and days should start earlier to avoid late meal time.
Guide very knowledgeable and caring about customers but could better pace the hikes, not easy as the group had very different walking speed.
My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. If all of your trips are of the same standard and your other CEO,s come close to Christian we"ll be back and spread your company to our friends!!
A very memorable, enjoyable and fulfilling holiday. Goof crew and beautiful scenery.
Thank you! (especially to Ivan and Nikola for all the effort that they put in to make this a really special trip).
Similar to our "Realm of the Polar Bear" tour, but with three additional days of exploring. Scour the ice and tundra in search of the elusive polar bear and encounter even more icebergs, glaciers, and unique wildlife than you ever thought possible on this 11-day expedition. Search for lounging seals, grazing reindeer, and colonies of birds under the midnight sun.
Sailing from Svalbard to Greenland, follow the ice’s edge with an eye peeled to the horizon for wildlife. Navigating south, you'll explore this remote landscape not only by ship but also on foot and via Zodiac. This journey highlights the contrast and change in the Arctic as you move south, finally ending in Iceland, "the Land of Fire and Ice." An Inuit village, unique wildlife, and remote destinations are just some of the highlights on this truly unforgettable voyage through the Arctic.
I've been to Portugal before, and was looking forward to experiencing another aspect of this country. This was my first trip with Exodus, and it was very impressive, start to finish. The daily outings, meals together, hotel choices, etc. were A+. Each island was unique and physically beautiful. The walks took us to places off the beaten path, which was exactly why I selected this trip.
From close-up encounters with icebergs and glaciers to the region’s plentiful wildlife, this is a voyage of non-stop highlights. Always on the lookout for wildlife that live in this polar wilderness, you’ll explore this landscape not only by ship but also on foot and via Zodiac. Roaming polar bears, lounging seals, grazing reindeer, and colonies of birds all co-exist in this harsh land we dare only to explore a few months of the year.
The "tour" was well organized and pace was appropriate. The accommodations were very good and the hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. The leader was well informed about the cultural and natural history of the area and took the time to assess each participant's requirements, physical capabilities and personality. He successfully balanced the needs and interests of each individual with the expectations of the group as a whole.
The northern nooks and regal Republic – see it all on this nine-day adventure on both sides of the Irish border. Travel through green pastures, vast lakes, striking cliff faces by day, and by night, head straight to the pub for a Guinness (or two). Visit medieval castles and ancient sites filled with folklore and marvel at the views of Ireland's rugged coastline, including the Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher and the Giant's Causeway. While exploring Belfast, Dublin, Derry and Galway, don't forget to gather your travel crew for some pub grub and live music to cap off a trip that hits all the hotspots.
This long weekend trip packs in a lot without feeling rushed or overwhelming. It's a good combination of town and country, with a touch of good fun tourism included in the trip to Bran Castle. Accommodation was as described and very comfortable. Romania has a fascinating history and the food is great. Our guide was brilliant and we had a terrific time. Highly recommended.
