From the very start, prior to the tour, Expat Explore team was very easy to reach, communication is within 5 minutes or less. Ask and you'll get an answer. The tour was also fast paced, covering alot of destinations, good for exercise , and in my opinion, is not tailored for people more than 60y/o or for those with heart condition as we averaged minimum 15,000 steps / day according to my apple watch. Fabulous trip, if too rushed at the beginning. If we could set off on day 1 from Inverness earlier in the day it would be preferable. Days were a bit rushed, too, leaving hardly any time to explore/do anything in Kirkwall, since they rool up tge sidewalk at 4:30 or 5pm. Marco did great job of altering itinerary to accommodate those who wanted time in town. An additional day, however unwieldy for the tour operator, could easily solve it. On last day, the later departure from Kirkwall helped too. The walks and Neolithic sites were great, made incredible by the fantastic sunny weather we were lucky enough to have. The guides providing dinner reservations for the group was helpful too, as the place seemed quite busy.

I would have liked fewer 1 night stays and more 2 night stays, with a little less driving time. the hotels and meals were great and the boat on the Danube Delta was especially relaxing and enjoyable.

This part of Tuscany was a complete surprise and a total delight. Not only did we have the typical walking through rolling pastureland covered with wildflowers, we also had many walks through shady forests decorated with sun streaming through the new green leaves and over a floor of last years copper leaves before we emerged onto high ridges to enjoy stunning views over still snow clad peaks. A total delight.

Great Itinerary which covered every touristy thing we wanted to do and *Personal details removed by Feefo* tried his best to accomodate any "must sees" the group had in mind.
Perfect coach which was kept clean (inside and out). We felt safe throughout the drive by *Personal details removed by Feefo* .
Hotels were far from anything, and getting around just became an extra expense. The Hotel Il Burchiello Oriago really needs to be re-considered as an option. It was awfully small, outdated and just not a great experience, especially as the first stop into Italy.
Wish the group dynamics could be better - maybe a "break the ice" drinks meet on the first night could have helped and made conversations more enjoyable.
It was our first time on a Trafalgar trip and most likely not our last. The scenery was spectacular, the tours were educational and fascinating. The hotels were top rate and the meals were delicious. Our Travel Director and Coach Driver were both outstanding. The whole experience was incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in a tour of this nature.
This tour will have you constantly on the move and walking quite a bit, especially if you do all of the optional excursions. However, at the end of the tour, you will be astonished by just how much you have experienced. Great value for the money!
My husband and I brought our entire family on this vacation to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Great trip, the best way to see much of Italy in a short time - 8 days. The country, food and people are wonderful in Italy. Our tour guide was great! I highly recommend.
