I couldn't have organized a trip like this myself. Usually I was someone who organized the logistics for her own travel but using G Adventures meant that I didn't have to worry about booking hostels or figuring out public transportation. This was one of the best trips of my life! I had the best group and the two best CEOs ever!!! It’s a very fast paced tour of some incredible cities, and the CEOs did absolutely everything in their power to make sure that we had the best time. Kudos to this tour operator and the staff members, but the lion’s share goes to Omar Gubernati, the managing director of the company. No words could describe and explain how incredibly and amazingly Omar is. He is superb in organizing our private tour in Malta and Sicily. He went beyond my expectations. He made all possible the things I requested. He tailored our tour with different tour guides and drivers everyday, who were all friendly and professionals in their respective chosen profession. I was really fortunate that I booked our trip with the agency. The places we visited were full of history, surrounded with centuries old buildings and fortified walls everywhere in Malta, the country seems the world’s oldest. Our day trip in Sicily is just a wink of an eye. We just drove around, like a hop on and hop off touring style. It should’ve been better if we stayed a day or two. Anyway, we’re glad to see part of Sicily. I highly recommend this company and particularly Omar Gubernati, who deserves 5 stars.

Through the extensive footpath network of the area, roughly following the traces of the Via Francigena, one of Europe’s most important ‘highways’ in medieval times, you walk from village to village and experience a full immersion in the world-famous Tuscan landscape. The tour is perfect as an introduction to the region and a great choice for people who love museums, galleries and Gothic and Romanesque architecture. You have plenty of time to visit attractions on most of the days.
You will also have time to visit all the beautiful medieval villages and historic towns along the Via Francigena: starting from beautiful Lucca, you’ll pass through Fucecchio, San Miniato, Gambassi Terme, the stunning San Gimignano with its medieval skyscrapers and Monteriggioni, admired by Dante in his Divine Comedy. An optional detour can bring you to beautiful Colle Val d’Elsa and the tour ends in Siena, arguably the most perfectly preserved medieval town in Tuscany. This tour threads together some of the most attractive towns and villages in Tuscany in an eloquent procession.
However, the emphasis of the tour is to enjoy the countryside, the rolling vineyards, the poppies in spring and the wild cyclamen in autumn. The area north of Siena is an amazing landscape of rolling hills, alternating vineyards and forests, while cypresses line the way leading to the distant farmhouses. Walking here is an unforgettable experience and many of the views have barely changed for hundreds of years.

Great range of activities and interesting things to do. The boat trip in particular stood out as a very high quality inclusion. Our day in Cappadocia was particularly memorable.

We saw a lot of Sapin which was what we wanted. The itinerary was great. However, it was a bit rushed and a lot more walking then indicated.
The coach was very nice, comfortable and well equipped, nice big window as long as you were not seated by a partition of the windows.
The hotels were for the most part very nice. The hotel in Valencia was terrible.

Evia is an amazing island, very green and lush and the walking was varied. I was pleased by the amount of history and local knowledge imparted by the guides. The butterflies, flowers, tortoises and slow worms interested me a lot. The hotel provided a very comfortable base with the sea, tavernas and sea front giving evening entertainment. This is a great mix of moderately challenging walking with great food, wonderful history and interesting nature. I would heartily reccommend this holliday
