I really enjoyed the bike trip with UTracks. We do a lot of bike trips and this was a relatively relaxing one, which was nice. The information that was given was very thorough and we had no issues during our trip. Really enjoyed the accommodations and towns they had us going through! Look forward to another one!

Fairly flat cycle ride of approximately 40 miles/day on mainly quiet roads or off road on the Via Verde, though there was some cycling on busy main roads. We had non stop sunshine and temperatures in mid 30s for our trip in late September, but felt that some of the Via Verde route would be almost impossible if it was wet. There were some good hills to ascend most days.

It was a great route with lots to places to stop along the way. So much good food, and all the accommodation was wonderful. Some of the roads were a bit busy for my liking, not sure if I would be comfortable taking children on those roads but for adults it was fine. A very enjoyable week- a highlight of our month in Italy!

A night is spent in the pretty city of Bratislava and in the lovely town of Gyor, as we head towards the Danube Bend at Esztergom. A cycle trip to discover the unspoilt beaches of the western Algarve and Alentejo Atlantic coast. As you pedal from the charming town of Odeceixe on the river Seixe, right on the border between Alentejo and the Algarve, you will appreciate that there is so much more to this special pocket of Portugal. In the hinterland, pass through extensive woods, authentic villages surrounded by kitchen gardens and quiet roads perfect for cyclists of all ages. On the coast swim at wide open beaches, cycle past coastal scenes of rolling dunes and dramatic cliffs and feast on fresh seafood. In the evening stay in charming accommodation with swimming pools to cool down in after a day of cycling. We were bike fitted with very comfortable bikes which we enjoyed riding. The GPS was excellent although we did misplace ourselves now and then. The rides went through very beautiful Tuscan country and lovely villages. My favourite was Lucca. Thanks for providing great equipment we enjoyed this week of our holiday in Italy.
Really good trip, with some very pleasant companions and an excellent guide, Fabio. He seems to have a sixth sense and is always aware of what is happening in the group. There is a lot of variety in the scenery and climate, and the combination of big cities and smaller towns works well. The cycling wasn't intense, but wasn't super easy either. It seems normal these days to have a mixture of e bikes and conventional, but it worked fairly well. The food was good and reflected the local cuisine. All in all a great trip!
