Europamundo exceeded my expectations. I traveled alone yet I always felt at ease and accompanied. The tour guide Antonio Toti was excellent, knowledgeable, caring and funny. The bus drivers were friendly, prompt and buses were impeccable. Filipo, the second tour guide in Rome had a wealth of information. Location of the hotels were a bit distant from the popular areas but were very nice and surrounded by restaurants. So what did I like most about the tour? EVERYTHING I am already looking into my next trip with Europamundo and once again, KUDOS to Antonio Toti for being a great tour guide
I am 80 years old and have a lung problem, this means that I lose my breath going uphill. All the group and the leader were very patient waiting for me to catch up.. I knew before I started that I wouldn't be able to do the last walk but the tour leader showed me and one of the men an alternate route and this was very satisfying.

I highly recommend the Europamundo tour through Spain and Morocco. It was an adventure of a lifetime, and I am eager to share my experiences to help others contemplating this journey.
Starting in Barcelona, the tour offered an exquisite exploration of the main destinations in the south of Spain, immersing us in the regions rich culture, delectable food, captivating attractions, and unique excursions. Our guide, a local expert, provided us with exceptional communication and profound knowledge about the area, enhancing our journey with insightful narratives. Some highlights include the palaces/castles, sea towns, food, iconic sites such as La Sagrada Familia, architecture that was influenced by different religions over time Primarily christianity Islam. Our group in Spain was a vibrant mix of English speaking tourists from around the globe, which was fun.
What set this tour apart was the seamless transition to Morocco via ferry. Upon arriving in Morocco, the composition of our group shifted predominantly to Spanish speakers from various countries. However, the consistent provision of English-speaking guides ensured that language barriers were non-existent, allowing for an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone. In Morocco, we were guided by Souzie, a local whose exceptional knowledge and engaging personality made him unforgettable. He is an excellent guide and cant highly recommend him more. He did an excellent job of blending social interactions, information, and fun into our journey. In terms of sites to see, Morocco has a lot - from Marrakech market, to major cities like Casablanca, and the breathtaking Sahara, truly remarkable. Being guided by Souzie was a privilege that enriched our understanding and appreciation of Moroccos cultural and scenic beauty. Food and accommodations in Morocco were excellent
The linguistic proficiency of all guides throughout our trip was impressive, facilitating clear and effective communication. The itinerary was thoughtfully organized, presenting a logical sequence of destinations and ensuring a comprehensive exploration of each location. With days packed full of activities and sights, there was never a dull moment, yet ample flexibility was provided for those seeking relaxation. All transportation was meticulously arranged, with comfort and convenience as top priorities, showcasing Europamundos dedication to guest satisfaction.
To conclude, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring the south of Spain and Morocco. The combination of these two regions offers a diverse and engaging experience. This tour is a perfect blend of adventure and cultural immersion, suitable for both seasoned travelers and those embarking on their first international adventure. And the cost was highly competitive

Take in the crumbling ruins of Rome, board a scenic train ride to Bologna and discover the maze-like canals of Venice with your local leader. The tour begins with a briefing on how the bikes work at Praça do Comércio (Comercio Square), near the black horse statue. You’ll then head to Rossio station to catch the train for Sintra. During the train trip, you’ll have time to let your guide know if you’d like to visit some of the palaces along the way or if you just want to cycle.
When you arrive in Sintra, you can visit the National Palace if you like. Most of your cycling tour takes place within the natural park of Sintra-Cascais. You’ll have the option of visiting Quinta da Regaleira, built between 1904 and 1910, and a place renowned for its symbolism, magic, and mystery. Shortly after you’ll pass by Seteais, a former 18th-century palace that is now a 5-star hotel.
Continue your trip along roads flanked by majestic groves until you reach the entrance of Monserrate Park and Palace, one of the most beautiful creations in the Portuguese Romanticism style.
Arrive at Colares, a place that’s well known for its vineyards. Continue on to Penedo village, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views from the atrium of the church, before cycling on to Urgueira village.
Take a break for lunch in Azóia village, where you’ll find a great variety of restaurants. With renewed energy, continue your tour through an ancient forest and make your way up to the Peninha Sanctuary, located at 488 meters above sea level. From here, you’ll have a panoramic view of the Espichel Cape and Arrábida, to the south, Carvoeiro Cape and Berlengas, to the north, and the entire Sintra mountain to the north-east.
Returning to the centre of Sintra, you’ll cycle downhill and have one last look at Pena Palace, an important monument of the Portuguese Romanticism movement.
You’ll be traveling with an informative and helpful guide, as passionate about beloved Sintra as about cycling.
Alternatively, go down to Guincho wild beach – with its never-ending dunes and typical winds that are so treasured by windsurf lovers – until you reach the bicycle path to Cascais.
Return to Lisbon through the beautiful town of Cascais by train where you will have one of the most amazing views over the Portuguese coast.
