Enjoyed this trip and all the optional choices. Weather couldn't have been better. Food was good. Free time and tour experiences were nicely balanced.
Tour Guide and Bus Driver was great. I was traveling solo and felt safe.
The one thing that could have gone better, was accommodations. The Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff and Liverpool was not a good experience. The room was not clean, carpet, window treatments and furniture was old and in bad repair.

Fantastic trip director and bus driver, Karin Reum and Noel. They made the trip a total experience with laughter, merriment, and compassion along our journey. Great itinerary, hotels, staff at the hotels and restaurants were extraordinary, and side excursions were great fun. As I write this I am in Seattle awaiting a regular passport….a six hour process and a 5 hour drive from my home in Portland.
Great balance of planned activities, free time to explore, and other options if you wanted to participate in more opportunities. Our tour guide made the trip more enjoyable. He was so knowledgeable and organized. He paid attention to all the small details. The bus driver was great as well. We were glad that we went a day early to catch up on sleep and get acclimated to Reykjavík and the time difference. The bus transportation requires every person to have their own credit card account number. We tried to use our visa twice and the payment was declined.
