Cologne to Mainz trip Excellent director, Julia, made everything easy. Right level of support. Food excellent and abundant. Area beautiful, cycling relatively easy.
Plenty of time to see the sites and do things on your own if desired. Bus provided ample leg room for us taller clients. We enjoyed the offered excursions even though we had been to many of the cities previously. This was our third trip with Insight and not our last. Having traveled with Trafalgar and Brendan also, Insight is our top pick for future travels.

The ride through Provence was absolutely fantastic, great route mainly off main roads, scenic, beautiful little villages, great hotels. Wonderful experience!
We saw a lot of Sapin which was what we wanted. The itinerary was great. However, it was a bit rushed and a lot more walking then indicated.
The coach was very nice, comfortable and well equipped, nice big window as long as you were not seated by a partition of the windows.
The hotels were for the most part very nice. The hotel in Valencia was terrible.
Great trip! Hiking was challenging, but in a good way, and we (51, 50, and 11-year old) all felt tired but proud of ourselves each night when we reached our destination. Very happy to have all the logistics taken care of by our guide, and to have the donkeys lighten our load. Our son says we should do it again!

We loved our time in Azerbaijan. Baku was surprisingly cosmopolitan and the people very friendly. The landscape and history of the region was fascinating. Excellent trip - absolutely stunning views, and the tracks were mostly clear, it felt like we’re were the only ones there. The guide was excellent, very well organised and it was a very rewarding trip all round.
