All in all, it was a first-class tour. Patagonia was amazingly, breath takingly beautiful. Our tour manager Cristobal was outstanding. A very dedicated, personable, knowledgeable and caring person who showed interest in all 24 of us on the tour. My husband & I would like to take another tour with him. Accommodations were first class. The only negative mention about the accommodations was the Remota Patagonia Lodge, although unusual, interesting architecture & lovely setting, we wish it was closer to Puerto Natales as we would have liked to have had more time to explore. The 4 days cruise aboard the Ventus Australis was exceptional, the service, food and knowledgeable crew, some of whom were our onshore guides. Most of the tour inclusions were excellent. My most memorable experiences were visiting the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier near El Calafate (some parts of the glacier inspired the look of a beautiful ice cathedral with sterling blue stained-glass windows), Torres del Paine National Park with its majestic mountains, aqua glacial waters and wild life (the good weather gods were with us to see all there was to see!), a Zodiac trip to Tucker Islets to see close-up the Magellan penguins and the chance to disembark at Cape Horn National Park, the "end of the earth". I was disappointed we did not have enough time to go for a hike at Tierra del Fuego National Park. The tour of Buenos Aires at the beginning of our trip was good but wish we had a chance to spend more time in the La Boca neighborhood.
Embark on a Patagonian adventure, starting with 1 night in Buenos Aires to explore the city. Then, spend 3 nights each in El Calafate and Ushuaia. Discover the wild beauty of Patagonia, with its snowy peaks, scenic lakes, and captivating beaver dams. Tour the heart of Los Glaciares National Park for an unforgettable experience
Travel in style from Santiago to the southernmost reaches of Chile and Argentina and up to Buenos Aires, staying in superior hotels and taking in Patagonia's striking landscape of towering snow-capped mountains, glacial lakes and fjords and boat ride at beneath the glaciers.

Okay so this Argentina & Chile Patagonia trip? Kind of insane — in the best way. It had everything: big city energy, glaciers, penguins, and so. much. wind.
Started in Buenos Aires which is super cool like, old buildings, crazy traffic, and the best empanadas I’ve ever had. We got to see a tango show (yes, I tried the steps... no, I did not crush it). Food was chef’s kiss honestly the breakfasts everywhere on this trip were solid too.
Then we flew to Ushuaia and it was like BAM totally different world. Cold, dramatic skies, water everywhere. The Beagle Channel boat ride was unreal. Penguins waddling around like they own the place. Also saw sea lions just chilling on rocks. Kinda surreal.
El Calafate was a dream. Perito Moreno Glacier?? Massive. I didn’t think I’d be that impressed by a chunk of ice, but it was majestic af. We did a boat trip and just stared in silence, it was that good. Also: hot chocolate in town = 10/10.
Last stop: Puerto Natales. Honestly such a vibe — super quiet and chill after all the running around. Torres del Paine was stunning but intense. Pack layers, because the weather switches up constantly.
Overall, this trip was packed but manageable. Flights, guides, everything was smooth. Would I go again? Maybe not the same route, but absolutely something similar. It was wild, beautiful, and way more emotional than I expected. Patagonia hits different.
