8:00 Pick up from Hotel
In the morning, your English speaking tour guide and the driver will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to start this Terracotta Warriors tour.
9:00 Drive to the Terracotta Army Museum
After gathering the group members, we will drive to the museum through highway directly, without any stopovers for tourist shops. It takes around one hour on the way, but you won't feel bored as your expert tour guide will give you a pre-knowledge of the cultural and historical background of the Terracotta Warriors.
10:00 Visit the Terracotta Army Museum
Accompanied by the guide, you will explore the Terracotta Army Museum by visiting the three excavated pits and the newly opened exhibition with many undisclosed collections. Although the clay warriors and horses have been buried for more than 2,200 years, they are still vivid with distinct appearances.
13:00 Free Time for Lunch
For lunch today, we leave it on your own to have more flexibilties. You may choose one to have a simple lunch, which usually costs around US$7 per person. Your guide is always ready to offer suggestions and assistance.
13:40 Drive back to downtown Xi'an
In about one hour, we reach the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda area. Over here your half day Xi’an Terracotta Warriors tour comes to the end. You may stay here till night to see the amazing night view, or if you want to get back to the hotel directly, your guide will show you the subway station here. We appreciate your time traveling with us!

The Trip was amazing and it exceeded our expectations!!!!!!
Toni, our Guide, was also Great! He thought of every detail to make our experience the best.
Join us on this full-day tour of two of the most important sites in Mongolia: Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex and Terelj National Park.
The Chinggis Khaan statue is a 40-meter tall stainless steel statue representing the founder of the Mongol empire on a horseback. It is the world's tallest equestrian statue. Located on the north of Tuul river, the statue faces east toward Khaan's birthplace. Visitors can walk to the head of the horse through its chest and neck, from where they can have a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. There is also a museum exhibiting artefacts relating to the Bronze Age and Xiongnu archaeological cultures in Mongolia, and to the Great Khaan period in the 13 and 14th centuries.
After the tour of the statue complex, you will visit Terelj National Park, which is set in a spectacular valley only an hour drive from Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Visitors can view fascinating rock formations against a backdrop of pine-covered mountains and wander along the tree covered banks of mountain stream. They can also stay overnight in a snug Mongolian Ger (traditional Mongolian dwelling) or in cozy guest rooms. It is an ideal place for taking a trip on horse along the Tuul river or the valley and visiting a local family.
Lynn, our tour guide, met us in our hotel lobby promptly as planned and we headed for our day trip to Hangzhou. We had an easy transfer to the Station. Lynn explained everything and took care of getting us through the security check in and ticketing process. The train ride was very nice. We were met by another driver after the train ride, and we headed to the West Lake area. Lynn was wonderful throughout and answered all our questions and told us about the history of the area during our drive, boat tour and visit to the tea tasting. We even had some time to walk around the city center and do a little shopping before heading back. Overall, a really nice experience for our family! Lynn did an excellent job from start to finish and we would definitely recommend!!
In Shanghai, you will see skyscrapers and the Bund, but Shanghai has more to offer. Try Cindy's tour and immerse yourself in cultural quirks like stories about cricket fighting, common people's housings that contrast the skyscrapers, and a tour through the cultural rich Confucius-Temple. While at it, you will eat tremendous, delicious food and receive a memorable tea ceremony. Highly recommended if you want to experience a different Shanghai. Thank you Cindy!
We were a family of 6 adults in Shanghai for two and a half day. Cindy proved to be professional, punctual, knowledgeable, accommodating, cooperative. She was more than willing to adjust her original plans to accommodate our personal needs and wishes, providing us with the most enjoyable two and a half day tour of Shanghai that left us with nothing but terrific things to say about her and the city itself.
I had fun discovering Shanghai and learning about its history. Lynn is an amazing host and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The variety of food was great and I would certainly recommend the tour!
Our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby/apartment in the morning at 8:30am. Then you will take subway/public bus to the first destination: South Gate of the ancient City Wall. You can walk on top of the wall or rent a bike and ride along the wall.
After the Nanmen visit, we will walk into the city downtown area from South Avenue (Nan Da Jie) to Bell Tower. This area is the most busiest street for local people go shopping and have fun, you can find different stores, shopping malls, cinemas as well as local restaurants around. If you have interest, you can go up to the Bell Tower for a great view of the city center.
Then we will turn west and walk to the Drum Tower area nearby. After passing through the base of the tower, turn left down a small side street called Hua Jue Xiang. The street is lined with shops selling souvenirs. When you reach a small intersection, go left to the entrance for the Great Mosque. Wander the lushly landscaped courtyard and note the detail on the mosque doors and gates, but only Muslims can enter the Prayer Hall.

Then you will go back to the Bell Tower Subway station and take the subway to our afternoon destination: Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Get off the subway at Xiaozhai Station and go east from Xiaozhai Dong Road. On your way, you will pass the Shaanxi History Museum on your left side. The museum is free of charge, if there are not many people line in queue for entrance, you can go for a visit. If the waiting time is too long, you can go east directly to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. (10minutes waking)
After the Big Wild Goose Pagoda visit, our guide will send you back to your hotel/apartment by subway/public bus. Service completes.
This tour was great - included the two things we really wanted to see (the terracotta army and the Hanyangling Museum) and we also got a great lunch and a visit to a local farmer's "cave house" which was an interesting insight into how people live outside the big cities.
Michael is a great guide, he speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable about the history and background of the archeological sites. The car was very comfortable with a good driver and plenty of water available. All in all an excellent tour, I highly recommend this if you're visiting Xi'an - you'll have a great time!
Join us on this guided group tour to visit one of the most popular natural landmarks in China, Huangshan Mountain. Our English-speaking tour guide will give you a call one day in advance to confirm the meeting time. On the day of the tour, please travel to Huangshan International Hotel (Number 31 Huangshan Road, Tunxi District, Huangshan city). We will pick you up from the lobby of the hotel at 7:30 am.
Take the coach from Hangshan city to the Huangshan Scenic Area. If the number of members in your group is less than ten, you will be sharing a coach with Chinese tourists but with an English-speaking tour guide by your side. Arrive at the entrance of Mount Huangshan between 08:30 am to 09:00 am and take the shuttle bus to Yungu Cable Car Station. You have the option of taking the cable car to the top of the mountain (own expense: CNY80 per person each way). However, in case you do not want to go for this option, you can walk your way to the top of the mountain, which takes around two and a half hours.
Admire the beauty of stunning peaks around you upon reaching the top. See White Goose Peak, Begin to Believe Peak, Black Tiger pines and Lion Peak among other natural landmarks. You can enjoy lunch at the top of the mountain by yourself if you want to (own expense).
Travel back to the cable car station after that. The coach will take you back to the meeting point in the city from there.
My private tour to Great Wall of China and to Forbidden city was arranged in a perfect way starting from the airport pick-up till the final hotel drop-off. Enjoyed the trip to the fullest and would definitely plan another trip through this local travel specialist in the future.
