Our guides (Peter and Daniel) amazing guides and very experienced. They checked our gear before the hike to ensure we had everything we needed. They monitored our heat rate and oxygen levels each night. They knew when we needed encouragement and went above and beyond to get all eight of us to the summit. The porters that carried our tents, food, etc were friendly and helpful. The local tour operator knows their stuff. We could not have done it without them. We highly recommend them if you are planning to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
The accommodations in the mountain huts were cozy, and the support staff made sure we were always comfortable. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the mountain s history and wildlife.
We made a tracking to the Kilimanjaro summit in January 2024. It was the best experience ever! Super professional company, best guides, porters, etc.
Great, very warm service and food. Lead guide Stanford, second guide Osward, and all the team, you are the best. Thank you!
The Kilimanjaro Machame route is one of the most popular routes for climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. The reason for its popularity is due to it being a very scenic route.
This is a long and hard trek, which reaches an altitude of 5895m. Even if you consider yourself fit, you might still find the climb very hard, depending on how well your body acclimatises to high altitude. There is no scientific way to determine how easily you acclimatise, and be aware that the acclimatisation process also differ from climb to climb.
Most of the trails on the Kilimanjaro trek are well defined and of good quality but some forest sections are often slippery and moorland paths can be very wet in poor weather conditions.
The final ascent to Uhuru peak is almost exclusively on loose rock without permanent footpaths. However, no technical skills are required. During the course of the trip we shall spend time at both high and low altitude, experiencing both extremely cold and quite hot conditions.
We will prepare for an early start every day on Kilimanjaro.
The Marangu route is one of the most popular routes to the summit of Kilimanjaro. This could partly be as a result of the fact that the Marangu is the least expensive route but more so perhaps the fact that it is possible to do the Marangu route in 5 days thereby getting to the summit one day earlier compared to the Machame route. This is not always the best way due to a shorter acclimatization period. That is one thing to take into account before decided to do the Marangu route.
Nobody, even how fit they are, know how their body will respond in high altitude. If you want to increase your chances for making a successful summit, we recommend the Machame route.
The shared hut accommodation on the Marangu route is one of the main differences compared to the other routes, where you have to camp. Mineral water, soft drinks, chocolates and beers are also sold at all the camps on this route.
All your equipment and supplies are portered and our cook will prepares all your meals.
Scale Africa’s tallest peak on the Mount Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route, a trek favored by adventurers seeking panoramic vistas and fewer crowds. The journey begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Londorossi Gate, followed by a trek through lush rainforest and the expansive Shira Plateau. Merging with the Machame route, climbers traverse the southern circuit, passing landmarks like Lava Tower and Barranco, before the final summit push. The Lemosho route is celebrated for its scenic diversity and high success rate, striking a balance between adventure and accessibility. The USP? This route’s unique approach and varied landscapes make it a top choice for trekkers wanting the most scenic and rewarding Kilimanjaro trip.
If you’re seeking a quieter, more remote ascent of Kilimanjaro, the Rongai Route is an excellent choice. Approaching from the north, near the Kenyan border, this route offers solitude and is especially suitable for those trekking during the rainy season, as the northern slopes receive less precipitation.
The seven-day itinerary allows for proper acclimatization, enhancing your chances of reaching the summit. Trekkers will pass through wilderness areas, spot wildlife such as elephants and buffalo, and enjoy the tranquility of less-traveled paths before joining the Marangu Route at Kibo Hut for the final push to the summit.
While the scenery may be less varied compared to western approaches, Rongai’s USP is its remoteness and accessibility, making it a moderately difficult yet achievable trek for those with less backpacking experience. This tour package is ideal for hikers desiring a successful and peaceful Kilimanjaro climb.
The Marangu route is perhaps the easiest and most comfortable route to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive you to Marangu Gate. From there you follow the trail that takes you to the top of the mountain via Mandara, Horombo and Kibo huts.
The route is well-developed and the climb is constant and of moderate intensity. The only portion that is quite demanding is the approach to the summit. However, you also have the option of adding a day for acclimatization at an additional amount if you want to. The advantage of this route is that kiosks selling mineral water bottles, soft drinks, chocolates and beers are available in camp sites throughout the climb.
