The booking porocess was easy, and customer service was responsive. I contacted 4 companies about the tour I was interested in. Two of the companies I contacted didn't answer me at all. One of them was basically a chatbot that said "do it yourself." Only bookmundi had human agents to help.

Itinerary
The Marangu route is perhaps the easiest and most comfortable route to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive you to Marangu Gate. From there you follow the trail that takes you to the top of the mountain via Mandara, Horombo and Kibo huts.
The route is well-developed and the climb is constant and of moderate intensity. The only portion that is quite demanding is the approach to the summit. However, you also have the option of adding a day for acclimatization at an additional amount if you want to. The advantage of this route is that kiosks selling mineral water bottles, soft drinks, chocolates and beers are available in camp sites throughout the climb.

day 1Arusha – Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut (2,743m)
Leave Arusha at around 8:00 am and head for Marangu Gate, where you will register for the Kilimanjaro climb. Your Kilimanjaro trek starts with a walk along a narrow trail through a rainforest. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Kisambioni, the halfway point of the journey. After lunch, continue walking through the rainforest until you reach Mandara Hut. Relax for the rest of the day or take a short walk to Mahundi Crater if you want to. The views to the east over Taveta and of Mawenzi Peak in the northwest are striking.
