I recently had the pleasure of touring Beijing with an amazing guide Steven and driver, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we were picked up, everything was well-organized, smooth, and enjoyable. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He shared fascinating insights about Beijing’s history and culture, making each site we visited even more meaningful. Their enthusiasm and storytelling brought places like the Great Wall, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven to life. They also gave us great recommendations for local food and hidden gems, which made our trip even more special. The driver was equally fantastic—always punctual, professional, and courteous.
Navigating Beijing’s busy streets can be challenging, but our driver made it feel effortless. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our journey stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our guide and driver. I highly recommend their services to anyone visiting Beijing.
We had a smooth and wonderful trip to China. Although we only had 8 days, our travel planner, Jovi, expertly arranged our schedule so we could visit our favorite destinations in Zhangjiajie and Jiuzhai Valley. Jovi was quick and responsive, and our tour guide, Ms. Yang, was kind, caring, and attentive to our requests. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Thank you!
We, a family of three from New Zealand, enjoyed a trip to China in October this year. We have been preparing for this trip for 2 years. Before finding this tour operator, we also inquired with some local travel companies in New Zealand and China. After comparing, we found that the itineraries offered by New Zealand companies were relatively limited, and they required a minimum of 16 people to form a group. Therefore, we ultimately chose the 13-day group tour package with this operator. In our group, there are a total of three families, consisting of 6 people. The other members are from Germany and the United States. It was an amazing trip. Totally worth it.
Hello Yocky,
You did a great job planning our china trip. Everything went as planned: The guides were very good and the transportation between cities went well {our first time ever on a bullet train}. We also appreciate your quick responses to our e-mails when we were planning the trip. We think it the best trip of all the trips we have had abroad. Thanks again for planning the trip for us.
Thanks again!
The trip was great, everything was very smooth, and well taken care of. I must also really thank you for helping with the train tickets last minute, you were a great help! I was quite worried haha.
The guide you provided, Lhakdon, was excellent. She is a very warm person, and genuinely helpful. For example, my father broke his spectacles accidentally one night, and I messaged her at 9pm asking if she had super-glue or knew a place to buy new spectacles. The next morning she turned up at 9 am with a tube of super glue, and we were able to fix the spectacles! She really went above and beyond to help us.
She always made sure we were comfortable and taken care of, at restaurants she would stop eating and come over to help us order food, get utensils, get drinks etc. service standard is very high.
Lhakdon also helped us outside of the tour time, brought us to various shops, to look for specific items we wanted. These shops were also cheaper and better in quality than the usual tourist traps. Places where locals would buy from.
The driver Pen Pal was also good, a friendly guy. Though he didn't speak English, we could converse in Mandarin. His driving was very safe, smooth ride all the way. No speeding, no sudden acceleration/braking/swerving. Great driver!
Please express the thanks and appreciation from my Dad and I to Lhakdon and the driver. If my friends or I ever go to Tibet again we will definitely request for them again!

More than a simple trip, our fifteen days in Nepal and Tibet were an unforgettable experience and a wonderful discovery. A very big thank you goes to this local tour operator and its Managing Director, Mr. Kaum Bahadur Subedi, who provided us with expert drivers (absolutely essential on the roads of Nepal) and guides with great expertise and experience. I want to especially mention Rem Raj Gurung who introduced us to the wonderful temples of Kathmandu, now all restored after the 2015 earthquake. A very useful exercise for me also who had visited those temples in the past.
Even more exciting was traveling across the Tibetan plateau. We entered from the border with Nepal - which in itself is an adventure - and we traveled the long way that leads to Lasha, crossing a powerful and unforgettable landscape. Along the plateau we had the Himalayas on the right with its snowy peaks (we also went to admire the north face of Everest with a half-day detour) and on the left another long chain of mountains that outlined a landscape that is hard to find the words to describe.
And then the unforgettable discovery for me, thanks to the guide that Mr Kaum made available to us for Tibet, a profound expert on the religiosity of the Tibetans. The discovery of a people who still live in a deep connection with their past and traditions: in religion, in clothing, in language. But I also found a genuine willingness towards foreigners. And we were among the few Westerners to visit the country.
We also have a beautiful memory of Lasha, a modern city that lives with a past whose strength still seems very alive.
The Xian mini group tour was amazing! My guide was Phoebe and she knows everything about Terracotta Warriors History and speaks a very good English! Also guided us to the best places to avoid the crowds. I strongly recommend the tour and the guide!
Take an entire day to explore two sides of Beijing: the old and the new. Visit the modern Beijing landmarks in the form of the Beijing Zoo and the Olympic Green. While catch glimmers of the ancient side of the city at the Lama Temple, along hutongs and at Jingshan Park.
Your friendly local tour guide will pick you up from your downtown Beijing between 7 am - 8 am and get you settled in a comfortable coach to start the full-day Beijing sightseeing.
First, head on to the Beijing Zoo. The site is comprised of 16 different exhibition areas and halls, but the most popular one is the Panda Hall, which houses the lovely giant pandas. Afterwards, visit the Olympic Green and witness firsthand the grand designs of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, instantly remarkable from the 2008 Olympics.
Continue to the Lama Temple (Yonghe Lamasery). The temple is considered the largest and the best-preserved lamasery in China. This exceptional temple is a glittering attraction, where layered roofs, fabulous frescoes, tapestries, carpentry and Tibetan prayer wheels guarded by a pair of Chinese lions mingle with dense clouds of incense.
Then enjoy a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch in local restaurant, and move on to hutong tour. Hutongs are the ancient alleyways made by the traditional courtyards. These reflect ways of the old, but are rapidly being demolished to make way for new roads and buildings. However, some are designated as protected area and some others are packed with various boutique stores offering a lively atmosphere.
Later go to Jingshan Park, a former imperial garden, and get the best and the clearest view of the Forbidden City.
Finally, complete your full-day guided tour with a visit to a silk shop, browse through some Chinese traditional silk arts and get gifts for your relatives back home. You will be then transferred back to your hotel.

The special historical, artistic and scientific significance of the temple makes it one of the major cultural attractions in Guangzhou.
