In depth exploration of Turkey from BCE to now. I now have a greater appreciation of its position within history and its influence globally. Would certainly recommend G Adventures as an introduction to this fascinating country

Evia is an amazing island, very green and lush and the walking was varied. I was pleased by the amount of history and local knowledge imparted by the guides. The butterflies, flowers, tortoises and slow worms interested me a lot. The hotel provided a very comfortable base with the sea, tavernas and sea front giving evening entertainment. This is a great mix of moderately challenging walking with great food, wonderful history and interesting nature. I would heartily reccommend this holliday

Good photo opportunities. Ephesus with ancient streets, roman toilets, columns, mosaics and carving of menorah. Amazing amphitheatre at Parmakeele,The Thermal Springs. Lots of people but lots of space. White rocks fab, water not warm, skin felt refreshed after dip. Hotels used were high quality. Breakfasts delicious. Time to visit museum shops and time for coffee break.
Guide allowed plenty of toilet stops.
Very organized. The time was well used to see major sites and to get a feel for the history and daily life. The tour was responsive to our request to include some outdoor, active activities in addition to sightseeing. The local guide was very good, knowledgeable and genial. Importantly, he was a good driver. The hotels were well selected, except for the one in Cluj which was a bit out of the center.
