The crew and tour leader were fantastic. There were many stops along the way for swimming. The history learned and walking through the many historic towns was illuminating.
The lower cabin is very very spacious and quiet.
This Greece Islands sailing adventure was so memorable! It exceeded all of our expectations, every day sailing to explore a different island and experience local culture and food as well as gain knowledge about the history and culture of the region. Our skipper CEO Mack was highly knowledgeable about the region and very passionate about sailing as well as sharing his knowledge and providing opportunities for each of us to learn and experience it for ourselves. Our only recommendation is for G Adventures to include more information about the need to pay in cash at restaurants and establishments in the Greek islands (Euros). We thought we would be using our credit card for dinners but learned we really needed to have cash instead.

The Essential Greece tour was a fantastic journey through some of Greece's most iconic spots. They ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience. A must-do for anyone looking to experience the essence of Greece!
Embark on an immersive 7-day journey through Turkey's most iconic historical sites and natural wonders! Begin in Istanbul, exploring its magnificent Old City, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace, with an optional Bosphorus cruise. Journey to the poignant Gallipoli battlefields and unravel the myths of ancient Troy before discovering the grandeur of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities. Marvel at Pamukkale's stunning white calcium terraces and therapeutic hot springs, gaining insights into local crafts. This captivating tour seamlessly blends deep historical insights with breathtaking beauty, concluding conveniently in the vibrant resort town of Marmaris.
Great itinerary around Turkey, made better by an excellent guide Osman who's very professional and knowledgeable. We spent 10 days visiting different parts of Turkey all very interesting. The tour included many dinners and all of them were very good. I loved the hotel in Capadoccia, vey unique and pretty even though it has a lot of stairs.
We had a great time in Turkey.
As a repeated traveler with G Adventures company, I am sorry to say that this was not the best experience I had in my 2 weeks vacation due to above mentioned issues. The trip otherwise would have been fantastic as the sites are amazing and Sandre's knowledge and experience are remarkable.
A beautiful stretch of coast to walk along the Lycian Way. Walking pace and distance moderate, and a great time to do it in October.
A variety of unique accommodation.
Food was delicious.
Our guide, Zep, was great in all respects - thanks Zep!
The holiday was brilliant from the seamless transfer to the hotel to the amazing experiences we had along the way. Zep our tour guide was wonderful. She organised everything and was such fun to be with. The hotel was clean, quiet, had a good swimming pool and provided a lovely breakfast. There was plenty the kids would eat too like cereal, fruit, bread and jam. If you like being in, on or around the water this holiday is for you. Every day there is the opportunity for swimming in crystal clear waters. This was our first family Explore holiday and we look forward to doing many more.
Walking through ancient ruins, sailing along the Aegean, and exploring Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar—every day was an adventure! Highly recommend this trip for history lovers!
Another spectacular trip with Explore. I highly recommend this company. As a solo female traveller they have never let me down. Explore is 100 % reliable.
