I have never been to Indonesia before. This trip was very well organised from start to finish. On the 10th day we drove from Kuta to Uluwatu, where we visited the beautiful temple surrounded by hundreds of monkeys, which are considered the protectors of the locals. One of the monkeys had his mobile phone taken away by someone in our group and our tour guide went to incredible lengths to make sure he got it back. The tour guide was also very competent and always helpful. The accommodation and food were also very good. All in all, a successful trip.

We explored and enjoyed this amazing country in 2 weeks. We got to see every aspect of Indonesia both the well-known areas but also the lesser known, off the beaten track. We were impressed with the guide his knowledge and passion shone through continuously. We were engaged and immersed in this cultural experience.

We had a fantastic driver who took us to the places we wanted to visit. He was very accommodating and was always ready for us with ice cold water! He directed us to the local guides at each site and his choices were always perfect. One member of our small group (4) had a problem walking and the driver was sure to take that into consideration at every stop. The price was more than reasonable.
My partner and I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek and I am 100% confident they are the best company available. From start to finish they were there for our every need.
During our time in Kathmandu, the agency representative was always at the hotel in person, greeting us with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. Before our arrival he was always on hand by email and replied almost instantly to every single question or query I sent him, even with the significant time difference between UK and Nepal. I really don't know how he does it.
Our guide during the trek was an absolute pro and was always on hand to answer questions or organize meals, permits or any other need we might have. His knowledge of the Everest region and how to navigate it physically was second to none and it was apparent by the many other guides and porters who stopped to greet him that he is a very experienced and well respected member of the trekking community.
A special thanks to the porters in our team, who powered up the trail every day carrying close to 40kg each. Never complaining and never without a smile or a fist bump. They arranged our meals in the evening and came along on acclimatization days.
Our group of 3 made it to Everest Base Camp. Many did not. I am certain this came down to the expert guidance and support given by the team. Should I ever return to undertake another adventure, it will be with this team.

This tour was a great trip that was personalised as it was done in small numbers. I particularly enjoyed the choice of food places, as we were able to enjoy traditional foods, including street food, that we would not have known about otherwise.

Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal with guide Mingma Sherpa was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. The trek was challenging yet incredibly rewarding, offering stunning views of the majestic Annapurna mountain range and providing a glimpse into the unique culture and way of life of the local Sherpa community.
From the moment I met Mingma Sherpa, I knew I was in good hands. His expertise and knowledge of the region were evident from the start, and his warm and friendly demeanor made the trek even more enjoyable. Mingma's passion for the mountains and dedication to ensuring the safety and comfort of his clients were truly commendable.
The trek itself was a test of physical endurance, as we navigated steep and rugged terrain, crossed suspension bridges over roaring rivers, and ascended to high altitudes. Mingma was always there to offer encouragement and support, providing valuable tips on acclimatization and pacing to help us adjust to the altitude and prevent altitude sickness.
One of the highlights of the trek was reaching Annapurna Base Camp itself. As we stood surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world, I was filled with a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of nature. Mingma shared stories and legends about the mountains, adding a cultural dimension to the experience that enriched my understanding of the region.
Throughout the trek, Mingma went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and memorable journey. From arranging cozy teahouse accommodations to preparing delicious meals that kept us energized, he took care of every detail with professionalism and care. His deep respect for the environment was evident in his commitment to leaving no trace and preserving the natural beauty of the Himalayas.
In addition to his technical skills as a guide, Mingma's cheerful personality and sense of humor made the trek a truly enjoyable and fun experience. Whether we were sharing stories around the campfire or laughing together during breaks, his positive attitude and infectious enthusiasm lifted our spirits and created a sense of camaraderie among the group.
In conclusion, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with Mingma was a life-changing adventure that exceeded all my expectations. I just completed a EBC and Gokyo Valley trip organized by this local travel specialist based in Nepal, what a wonderful itinerary. EBC is a bit of a letdown as there isn't much to see but Kala Patthar, the glaciers, the mountain pass and Gokyo part of the trip certainly make up for it. At times challenging with the altitude but worth the effort. Everything went smoothly with the company, if you are traveling solo expect tto share a room in the tea houses unless you communicate in advance specific needs or request. Most teahouses have sharing accommodations and rely on income form meals, so unless it is planned in advance sharing would be expected. Overall communication was prompt and excellent, our guide was very knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. Our group was very small, just two of us. I had a bit of altitude sickness and was unsure about being able to complete the mountain pass after EBC, I had no doubt arrangements would be made should I needed to come back sooner. The agency was also great with hotel accommodations and tours in Kathmandu. Highly recommend them, Arjum and Raj are geat to work with.

We were very happy and impressed with the experience we received on this trek. When we arrived in Kathmandu there was heavy rains and flooding that disrupted normal travel to the Everest region. Yet, this tour operator did an amazing job at organizing everything for us so that we didn’t miss anything and started on time. Our guide Pasang Tamang was amazing and friendly, and he did a fantastic job communicating with us and keeping us safe. Very highly recommend, and I hope to go on another trip with Pasang again.
