Asia is a little gritty – it is a more challenging vacation than Europe for sure – so you will need help with transfers and getting around .
English is not as expected and a lot of people do not speak it ( Europe English is a second language. Here it is not so) due to communist infrastructure

This trip was honestly everything we hoped for and more. Every place we visited felt special in its own way, and the whole itinerary just flowed so smoothly. We got to see the famous sights, but also had moments that felt really personal—like sitting with Mr. Duoc in Ba Vi, hearing his stories from the war. It was something we’ll never forget.
Mrs. Chin's cooking class in her garden kitchen was another favorite—she made us feel so welcome, and the food was amazing.
We also found some great little restaurants along the way (shoutout to the grilled eggplant in Hoi An—wow).
Thank you, Ellie, for planning everything so perfectly. You really took the stress out of it and helped make this such a memorable trip. We already miss Vietnam… and we’re already talking about coming back.

This is my second time coming to Cambodia, and I thought I already knew everything about it but this trip taught me so much more. All the experiences I join were excellent, with the Phnom Penh cooking class being my favourite. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to know more about Cambodia than just a classic experience.
Halong Bay is incredibly beautiful, Pu Luong has such fascinating natural scenery and culture, and Hanoi with its vibrant atmosphere and people is something I truly loved. The drivers and guides were friendly and fun to hang out with, and I have no complaints about the accommodations. I’m so happy that I chose this travel operator for this trip. I was always supported by the team, who paid attention to every detail and answered my questions quickly, even in the middle of the night. It is an historically significant and culturally rich vacation with sights not to be seen elsewhere. The people are very friendly and, contrary to popular belief, it is a safe place to visit.
Another wonderful trip with World Expeditions. In addition to the expected highlights of Petra, Wadi Rum, snorkelling in the Red Sea and floating in the Dead Sea, the unexpected delights of visiting a local family at Um Qais (and cooking/dining with them), the expansive Roman ruins at Jerash and our extraordinary driver Firas made this trip wonderful.
The small additional cost of having a representative meet us at the airport and guide us through immigration was well worth it. The process was very quick and smooth.
