This Southeast Asian bicycle tour takes you well off Cambodia's beaten path, away from the temples and into the heart of natural wonders such as mangrove forests, secluded beaches, waterfalls, rivers and the rainforest of the Cardamom Mountains. Using boats to go deep into forests we'll explore small villages and even ancient burial sites containing cultural artifacts.
From Cambodia's capital of Phnom Penh, we ride to the Gulf of Thailand and the former resort town of Kep and spend the day cycling along the coastline through quaint fishing villages. After a day at the beach, we head north to the Cardamom Mountains and overnight at a Community Based Eco-Tourism (CBET) project that is offering locals an alternative living to logging and hunting. Here we ride on single track trails before cycling further north and an eco-lodge that also boasts the nearby Tatai waterfall.
We leave Cambodia and ride into Thailand where we'll ride along the quiet coastline of the Kingdom and visit a few Eco-based communities where we can assist in their restoration efforts. We, 3 friends, travel to South Asia for 2 Months especially focus on India, Nepal and Bhutan for Trekking and Peak Climbing. In India, We trekking in Ladakh for 13 days that was wonderful for us. Then we fly to Nepal for Peak climbing with Nepal Guide Treks. Next day, we headed toward Dhunche(a place) by bus then after we trek about 5-6 hrs every day for next 12 days. that was hard to us but also enjoy the beautiful nature, landscape of surrounded place of Langtang Valley. Our Guide Lakpa Sherpa and porters was helpful for us. Lakpa told us, various thing about Yala Peak, Langtang Village and valley, peoples and Culture. We moved forward Yala Base Camp and then to Yala Peak. That was easy forward trekking peak with help of using crampons and ropes. When we top of Yala Peak, that was awesome of himalaya like Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Naya Kanga Peak and other snow-capped mountains. Everything went well and scrency from top of the peak was breathtaking. We back to base camp and then back to Kathmandu. Larkpa Sherpa was great guide to us. His guidance can achieve the Yala Peak.

The tour combined the bustle of Tokyo, the culture of Kyoto and the charm of the Northern Akita and coastal region. The food and accommodations were excellent and being able to travel on Bullet Trains, local trains and subways added to the local experience.
Yoko was an excellent CEO, she was knowledgeable, helpful and kept the group organized.
Overall it was an excellent tour of Japan!

David Solanes was our guide and he was amazing, taking considerable care of everyones questions be they related to the tour events, free time or other aspects of the country, culture and travel. He provided excellent contextual overviews and made the experience for everyone fun and most enjoyable. He was great at getting everyone moving through the events without a lot of waiting on others... truly passionate about the tour stops and ensuring all had a great time.
The hotels and locations were convenient and generally quite good.

When it comes to organizing an adventure-packed trip to the Everest Base Camp and beyond, this local travel specialist stands out as a reliable and efficient choice. The Everest Base Camp Trek, which served as a warm-up before climbing Lobuche East Peak, was an exciting and fulfilling experience in itself. The trek allowed us to gradually acclimatize to the altitude and enjoy stunning landscapes along the way. The climb to Kala Patthar provided a unique perspective, as we descended into the valley from EBC, further aiding our acclimatization process while marveling at the breathtaking scenery.
However, it was the climb to Lobuche East Peak that truly tested our limits. The steepness of the peak presented a challenge, but thanks to the expertise of our climbing guide, who skillfully fixed ropes and offered guidance, we were able to conquer it without too much difficulty. The sense of achievement upon reaching the top was immeasurable and made all the hard work worthwhile.
Our experience with this agency was nothing short of exceptional. If you're seeking a well-organized and thrilling trekking experience in the Everest region, they should be at the top of your list.

This was a great trip, and I would recommend it.
The hotels were all fine, the one night camping less so - very cold and the set-up was VERY basic (a kilometer away from a luxury resort!) - but the night sky in the desert was amazing.
The trip notes are not totally accurate/informative though - there is a lot more travelling than they suggest and a lot of it is in 4-wheel drive vehicles over rough ground. If you don't like heights, beware!
Be prepared for squat toilets in quite a lot of places :-/
All in all it was a good trip, well managed and very interesting.

This was a great trip full of wonderful and varied experiences plus a number of highlights including: Bodh Gaya and important Buddhist sites, Varanasi, the Taj Mahal, Shimla and The Golden Temple at Amritsar. Travelling by train proved to be fascinating and a good way to meet people, even if it was not always totally comfortable. Pemba was an excellent tour guide, caring, well organised, knowledgeable and extremely likeable. I would certainly recommend the trip as a good way to explore this part of northern India.
