Mera Peak (6,461 m), the highest trekking mountain in Nepal, is reached via Mera Peak Climbing. Anyone with a little bit of mountaineering experience should climb Mera Peak. Due to its elevation, it is a difficult trekking peak, although only very basic technical climbing skills are needed. Off-the-beaten-path in the rarely visited Hinku Valley is the climb to Mera Peak. The trail is isolated, the surroundings are untamed and clean, and there are not many populated areas. You'll spend the most of your nights in teahouses at yak herders' summer camps or remote kharkas.
Although Mera Peak is not particularly difficult technically, it is tall at 6476 m, has a long summit day, and is exposed to the elements. You need to drink plenty of water and keep your pace manageable and slow. Although the snow route itself is not particularly difficult, it is a long day out and will wear you out. You must feel at ease moving while cinched in and keeping a safe line while moving on a man rope. You also need to know how to walk in crampons and use your walking axe to self-arrest. We set up a high camp for this peak, so you should be comfortable camping on snow. It's also crucial to stay warm, dry, hydrated, and well-fed to be in the best condition on summit day.
Embark on an unforgettable 12-day trek through the breathtaking Everest region! Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest (Sagarmatha).
This extraordinary journey goes beyond the iconic view, allowing you to discover hidden treasures and cultural gems along the way. Begin your adventure in Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this enchanting town.
Your journey starts with a thrilling experience—a landing at Lukla's Tenzing-Hillary Airport. Brace yourself for one of the world's most dangerous yet stunning flights, as you witness the breathtaking landscapes unfold beneath you.
As you trek along the Dudh Koshi River, you'll cross picturesque bridges, conquer the steep Jhorshalle, and encounter charming villages that offer a glimpse into the unique local culture. Traverse through dense forests, with the melodic sound of pristine rivers as your constant companion.
And then, the moment arrives as you ascend into mesmerizing high-altitude terrain, above the tree line, towards Everest Base Camp. The air becomes crisper, the mountains more majestic, and the beauty truly unparalleled.
Join fellow adventurers from around the globe and let's embark on this incredible journey together. Marvel at the vastness of the Everest region, stand in awe of its snow-capped peaks, and create memories that will last a lifetime. This is an experience that will ignite your spirit of adventure and leave you with a deep appreciation for the wonders of our natural world.
The day begins with a guided boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most beautiful pagodas in Hue. Next, visit the magnificent Imperial Citadel, listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here, visit the Imperial City and Forbidden City, the majestic home of previous Emperors. Enjoy exploring the various palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences, colleges and other landmarks.
Next, leave the hustle and bustle of the city and head to Thanh Toan village, a settlement founded in 1741 by military officials under King Le Thanh Tong. The village is home to many historical shrines and ancestral houses of local families. Stop at Thanh Toan eco restaurant for a welcome drink and cooking class with our chef. Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese special foods. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked for lunch!
After lunch, visit the ancient national heritage bridge "Thanh Toan Bridge" and an agriculture tools museum, a unique community museum in Vietnam where you'll find farming and fishing tools together with many interesting stories of rural village life.
The last stop of this tour will be Khai Dinh tomb - a visual representation of the decline of Vietnamese culture during the colonial era. Unlike Hue’s other tombs, the grandiose concrete structure, built between 1920 and 1931, is a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements.
The tour ends at your hotel.
Start your day with an 8:30 AM pickup from your hotel lobby. From there, head to Aik Berik Village, home to two beautiful waterfalls. The first is just a 15-minute easy hike from the gate, where a 30-meter cascade plunges through the lush forest. Afterward, enjoy a one-hour walk deeper into the forest to reach the second waterfall. Here, you can rejuvenate in the natural pool formed by cascading waters and admire the three tiers—30 meters, 10 meters, and 5 meters—resembling delicate threads of a valance. This unique appearance gives the falls their name, Benang Kelambu (“valance thread”).
After exploring the waterfalls, visit Rambitan traditional village to experience local traditions and architecture. Continue to Kuta Mandalika Square for lunch, then relax by the serene blue waters of Mawun Beach (or Mandalika/Seger Beach).
Conclude your day with a breathtaking sunset from Merese Hill at Tanjung Aan before returning to your hotel.
This exclusive tour takes you from Hanoi to the natural wonders of Northwestern Vietnam, including Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc Waterfall.
