I really enjoyed the locations. Especially the Roman ruins and the villages we stayed in. It was a really great cultural experience.

My advice to anyone looking to experience South Africa, choose this adventure trip! Especially if you have younger children and teenagers, they all can enjoy this trip. As for the adults, there is so much to see and experience and watching the kids was delightful. I'd love to do another one - and I understand Shaun leads a trip that goes more to the interior of Zimbabwe to an 11th century site - that sounds right up my alley! But this trip is so worth the effort to get there and meet wonderful CEOs.

Great trip if you want a combination of wildlife and scenery. The camping was comfortable, campsites generally good, some suberbly located.

A fantastic adventure that really transformed my previously negative view of group trips! Botswana, in particular, was absolutely stunning and GAdventures built an excellent itinerary to have an unforgettable experience in Southern Africa. The tour guides/CEOs were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun – they did a fantastic job with a large group of travellers (many of whom were travelling solo) and really facilitated the creation of lifelong memories and friends. It was a fantastic experience from seeing amazing wildlife in the bush and witnessing the life that exists in the seemingly unliveable desert.
