I recommend this trip for anyone who seeks true adventure and wants an immersive experience, you're going to love this. I was very happy with our guide Barnabus, most pleasant and engaging. The Madagascar tour provided access to wonderful scenery and ample opportunities to connect to people. I won't sugarcoat it, there are a couple of challenging days with long bumpy rides but the destinations were always worth it. The days spent traveling by boat were fantastic. So glad I signed on for it and really enjoyed the small group I was traveling with.

Really enjoyed this tour. Itinerary was great. Pace was right, and our tour leader was amazing. Will definitely come back to Spain and Portugal again. Touring Morocco was great too, and very different from travelling in Europe. Had I done this tour as a single traveller it would have costed me a lot more, so got value for money as well. Will soon book my next trip. Recommended.

What Zanzibar offers is a unique combination of outstanding beaches, along its eastern edge, interesting activities, such as visiting a working spice farm, and the cultural delights of Stone Town, with Arabian fortresses and minarets.
With its location, barrier reef and outstanding beaches Zanzibar can offer all of the attractions that most crave such as scuba diving, glorious beaches, fresh seafood and much more. For those that are a little restless there is a small forest in the interior called Jozani that has indigenous red colobus monkeys, and the spice tours in one of the small farms just outside Zanzibar Town are a fascinating glimpse into why this island has become so famous.
Geographically, the island is only around 40 km across and 100 km from north to south at its widest points. Featuring outstanding powder white beaches along its eastern shores, flanked by barrier reefs, and the UNESCO World heritage site of Stone Town on its western edge, the island itself (Unguja in Swahili) is fairly narrow, with a ridge running through its middle from north to south. Along its eastern coastline runs a protective barrier reef and then the Indian Ocean. This is where the best beaches are located, all with coral white sand and gently lapping waters.
This 4 days itinerary offers visitors a short but worthwhile tour ideal for those who are time constrainted but yet want to enjoy the feel of Zanzibar Island.
The program will take you to Stone Town on your first day. You will get the opportunity to have a Stone Tour and explore this beautiful island full of history and culture. Relaxation at the beach on the 3rd & 4th day makes it great way to end your vacation - relaxing and rejuvenating!
This itinerary can be altered to suit your personal interests & activities.

Don't miss out on this camping safari experience.
Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the bulky Bunyoro escarpment merges into the vast plains of Acholi land. One of Uganda's oldest conservation areas, it was initially gazetted as a game reserve in 1926 to protect the wildlife-filled savanna.
The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile which plunges an incredible 40 meters over the remnant rift valley wall at the dramatic Murchison Falls, the centerpiece of the park. The mighty Falls drains the last of the river's energy and transforms it into a broad, placid stream that flows quietly across the rift valley floor for to Lake Albert. This stretch of river provides one of Uganda's most memorable wildlife spectacles. Regular visitors include elephants, giraffes and buffalos while hippos and Nile crocodiles are permanent residents.
Trips to the top of the falls are the best way to appreciate the immense quantities of water that gush powerfully through the narrow gap in the escarpment – and send spray and rainbows over the viewpoint.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, south of Masindi, is home to Uganda’s only rhinos.
Wildlife
The Park’s residents include elephants, an incredible number of giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, lions, hippos, jackals the bizarre-looking hartebeest and bushbucks amongst others. Habituated chimpanzee groups live in the neighboring Budongo Forest Reserve, while Uganda’s only rhinos live at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, on the way to the Park from Kampala.
Birds
Murchison Falls National Park is also home to some of Uganda’s most iconic bird species – including the sought-after shoebill and the grey-crowned crane, the national symbol. Among the other 460 confirmed species in the Park, there are Abyssinian ground hornbills, saddle-billed storks, Goliath herons, weaver birds, African jacanas, and many migrant waders. Nocturnal species include nightjars and spotted eagle owls.
Monkey Practical Information
The following are some of the things that we will do on this 3 days trip:
- Launch trips to the base of the falls offer fine game viewing and bird watching.
- Boat trip to the Lake Albert delta provide a great chance of sighting rare shoebills.
- Chimp tracking at Rabongo Forest, and en route from Masindi in the Budongo Forest.
