You'll then journey onwards to Aswan, using the overnight sleeper train.
In Aswan, you'll immerse yourself in the unique culture of the Nubian people, renowned for their warmth and hospitality. You'll spend a night in a traditional Nubian village, with its colourfully painted houses and lively markets, and enjoy a home-cooked dinner with a local family. You'll also visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and embark on a relaxing felucca sailing trip down the Nile.
The journey continues to Luxor, where you'll explore the vast necropolis of the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. You'll also marvel at the grandeur of Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex dedicated to the Theban Triad.

Sailing on the Nile on a felucca is one of the best ways to see Egypt and it provides a great break between your busy sightseeing. An upgrade to a hotel is available for this night if you'd prefer some more comfort.
After exploring the amazing ancient Pharaonic sites in Luxor, we re-join the overnight train to Cairo.
