This nine-day tour will take you through the splendid Mediterranean country of Tunisia. Later you will visit Douz, it is an incredible palm oasis hosting over 500,000 palm trees and is often considered the “Gateway to the Sahara” due to its easy access to the world-famous desert. Moving ahead the journey ends in the city of Sousse; a seaside town which is a great spot to relax on the beach and wander around the upscale Port El Kantaoui.
This itinerary was a great way to see all the highlights Egypt has to offer. Along with a fantastic Tour Director this is the perfect trip for anyone interested in the history. Part of the itinerary was a cruise on the Nile. The ship and crew were fantastic and it was easily one of my favorite parts. With daily stops and chances to bond with other Travellers it was so much fun.
This Trafalgar tour includes both ancient history and current day industry. It was very interesting to see how they make different items today in Egypt.
