A very full on and busy tour. Explores a lot of very different sights and maintains interest throughout. A lot of walking in ruins and uneven streets. Drives on the whole are not too long being broken by visits to places of interest and the bus was comfortable. The trip to the Sahara camp is amazing and very memorable as we drove there through a big sandstorm, the skills of the drivers to navigate this were very impressive. The campsite on arrival was very comfortable and served excellent food. The mosaics and historical sites are marvelous. Our guide Yusra was exceptional, she had lots of local knowledge, was fun, entertaining and well organised. She coped really well when a medical emergency arose to one member of the group providing the couple with great support while keeping the rest of the tour running with little disruption. Highly recommend this trip

If you’re thinking of going to NZ we found this to be a great tour. There are more optional excursions than I was expecting so you need to allow a good amount of spending money. A list of optional excursions should be made available prior to booking the trip.

Brilliant unique trip where every destination was a new adventure. Booked flights, extra night and airport transfer with Explore which all ran smoothly. Prefer the revised itinerary as there is so much to see and do in Singapore so need at least the extra day there. Serene our guide was excellent in introducing us to the history, culture and foods of Singapore, packed in very efficiently. This continued in Malaysia with Sam our leader, he is so passionate and knowledgeable about his country and such a lovely personable chap who really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Along with our lovely driver Mr Ali who drove us safely and comfortably around. Really enjoyed the homestay where the hosts were so welcoming, it was basic as expected but the experience was brilliant. Accommodation varied but was in good locations for ease of getting around especially when out independently. We did all the optional trips in Langkawi which left little beach time which did not bother us as we prefer to sightsee but consider booking an extra night as it is so beautiful and relaxing.

This tour provides a memorable experience of the culture of SW India. There are many highlights including cruising on the backwaters, experiencing the variety of Indian cuisine, walking in the highlands, visiting a splendid Nepalese Temple, seeing tea production from picking the leaves to producing tea for sale, visiting a coffee plantation and a brief visit to Goa. The hotels are wonderful. This tour gives an good insight to the variety of life in SW India but be prepared for some long distance journeys.... India is a big country!

The itinerary was beyond expectation - each experience was thoughtful and interesting. The variety was brilliant! From the Blue Elephant cooking class to the Hellfire Pass and museum, the range of experiences was amazing. Best of all was the day with the Buddhist Monk - we were all positively changed.

Would thoroughly recommend this tour for a great experience of the Golden Triangle and so much more. Rajasthan is beautiful, full of vibrant colours and friendly people. As the tour details say, this is a full on tour and there are long coach journeys most days as the distances between the cities and sights are large. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss any of them though. The forts and palaces are amazing. Keshav was a brilliant tour leader, very knowledgeable about every visit and a great sense of humour. He was very supportive and aware of the groups needs.
