Southern Africa 3-Weeks Tours and Itineraries

Three weeks in South Africa could as well be an epic expedition that takes you through the southern part of the African continent, from the parched Kalahari to the rain-soaked Lowveld. Hike through the subtropical foliage of Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, where a meandering river passes through unique rock formations. Then cross the border to tour Namibia to take in the enormity of the ruddy dunes of Sossusvlei. Traverse the arid landscape of Etosha National Park, where lions roam around watering holes frequented by elephants and giraffes. Relax on the beaches of Swakopmund before hopping over to explore Botswana, one of the most wildlife-rich places on the planet. Paddle a canoe in the Okavango Delta and drive a quad bike through the salt flats of Nxai Pan National Park.

This was one of the best holidays I have enjoyed. The leader, Rene Calancha, was brilliant, the variety of sights and experiences marvellous, the company great. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

During the first phase of the Great Himalaya Trail Trek, which was from Kanchenjunga South Base Camp to Makalu Base Camp, we encountered breathtaking landscapes and difficult terrain. The sherpas who accompanied us were invaluable, sharing their knowledge and expertise and adding cultural richness to our adventure. They pointed out hidden waterfalls and offered valuable insights, making the journey both physically challenging and culturally enriching. As we continued on to the next phase of the trek, from Makalu Base Camp to Everest Base Camp, the scenery became even more awe-inspiring. The towering peaks of the Himalayas surrounded us, their snow-capped summits glistening in the sunlight. We navigated through rocky terrain and crossed icy rivers, relying on our sherpa guides to lead the way. Their unwavering support and encouragement motivated us to push through the physical challenges and reach new heights. Each day brought new experiences and opportunities for personal growth, strengthening our bond as a team and deepening our appreciation for the natural beauty of the region.

Well organised trek by the local operator. This tour was recommended by my friend. I took the right decision going with the operator as they have 20 years of experience. You cant go wrong choosing them.
