Reviews of our Andes Tours for Senior Citizens

Our senior travelers love their Andes journeys — here's what they say.

Itinerary is full - minimal down time. Participants should be prepared for high activity level. Trip did fulfill/accomplish all sites promised. (Lodging at Grand Canyon Lodge was disappointing-broken light in room, tv no or minimal reception due to outdated technology, very worn carpet & rooms were not within walking distance of meal area. Suggest those planning & scheduling accommodations should know properties in order to prepare guests to fact they are not on par with usual Insight stays.) Tour Director Jason Cohen made trip Aone!

Was the "right" pace. Lana (and Phillip) were exceptional - made everything easy, fun, and interesting. It's so nice to let them to the hard work and your their to relax, learn, see, and taste!!!

Very fast paced tour of Italy! Our tour director Caroline was excellent at arranging tickets, tour guides and transportation. No lines to wait for anything. Group meals were very average.

There was a great balance of directed tour time and time to explore on our own. Both the Tour Director and all the local guides were well informed and interesting, and fun too. We took all of the optional experiences and we're glad we did as they were fabulous! Even with that we had time to sit in cafes or wander and experience Italy on our own.

The Wonders of the West tour was especially good because many national parks were within close proximity which avoided long stretches between stops. Also, many stops were 2 nighters which helped minimized packing/ repacking chores.

Great tour, but we were so close to the Four Corners we could have stopped there. Scenery was spectacular! The dinners with the Navajos were excellent, especially the settings where we ate. Maybe a little down time in the middle of the trip would have been great to catch your breath. Our guide Jason was excellent, full of information and knowledge. Our group of travelers, watched out for each other and enjoyed each others company. Great group!
