My favorite activity was the canyon float trip. The weather was perfect and the guide very knowledgeable and engaging. The perspective from the bottom of the canyon is awe inspiring.

Had a great time in Kerala, with a fabulous bunch of fellow Explorers and a very knowledgable guide in Sam. Weather was kind, despite rain being forecast for the whole trip, only one heavy shower which was quite welcome in the very hot and humid conditions which made the cycling a little tougher. Accommodation was of mixed standards, had more cold showers than hot! Often welcome tho. A/C or fans throughout and much needed. Backwaters just as expected, lush and green, teeming with flora and fauna, binoculars useful, also enjoyed blowy coastal rides and the start of the trip in hippie vibe resorts of Kovalam and Varkala, excellent restaurants overlooking beach and lots of shops selling clothing and fabrics. Trip ended in Fort Cochin, iconic fishing nets ‘Cheena Vala’ didn’t disappoint along with architecture left by Dutch and Portuguese, nice feel to the place - an excellent trip with lots of good and cheap food, a few G and Ts too.

Very-well designed itinerary, starting with a couple of long coach journeys at the beginning (including the overnight coach journey) to bond the group, with the tour getting better and better as it progressed. Our leader, Darwin, was simply brilliant, going the "extra mile" on various occasions and providing several experiences that were not set out in the itinerary (including a view of the sunset over Arequipa from a rooftop bar, plus a brewery tasting session in Cusco). Macchu Picchu lived up to all the hype, but my personal highlight was the night on Taquile Island, despite the basic accommodation, and the morning walk across the island. All the local guides were excellent. All in all, a fantastic introduction to southern Peru.

An excellent tour of Morocco with a wide variety of activities and experiences staying in beautiful riads. Highlights include the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen, the stunning landscapes around Ouzoud and the delicious meals cooked in private houses.

What an adventure! This holiday is not for the faint hearted as it really is a full on tour but came away feeling like I had seen and experienced so much that other people would not! We experienced so many varied masked dances and genuine experiences that words cannot describe…. Our guides were incredible and thoughtful as well as great advocates for West Africa and made me want to visit other countries. As long as you go with an open mind and don’t expect the hotels to be of a European standard you will love this tour.
