Sigiriya Tours in October 2025

What an incredible adventure from start to finish. Our driver and guide Abey Waradhana went above and beyond making our trip both interesting (with his excellent knowledge) and enjoyable. He looked after us, never hurried us and escorted us everywhere, he even checked up on us after his part of the tour was over. We feel like we were there for months we packed so much in. The itinerary was intense but so worth it from the walks, the temples and the additional trips to Sigriya, the Temple of the tooth (highly recommend a night visit) and the safari. We have seen so many elephants, beautiful birds and other wildlife we couldnt have asked for more. The hotels have been of top quality and the food and staff incredible. We cannot recommend this trip more highly, great value for money and an experience to remember forever. Make sure you bring comfortable footwear and a brolley. Thanks once again Abey, youre a star.

A really enjoyable trip with a charismatic tour leader, and superb scenery, wildlife and food. The support team were great, always trying their best to look after you, and the driver had nerves of steel negotiating the chaotic traffic. Sri Lanka has emerged from some dark times, and is once again a terrific place to visit, with great variety and vibrancy and a lovely, friendly vibe. Plenty of smiles and high-fives as you ride through the landscape, shouts of “Bye!” Following you down the road.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit, Sri Lanka ist ein spannendes, vielfltiges Land mit viel Natur und Kultur. Es ist fr jeden etwas dabei. Tempel, Regenwald, Safari, Hiking, bernachtung im Dschungel, Meditation bei einem Mnch (persnliches Highlight), Kandy und Ella, Strand, Ayurveda Treatment u.v.m.... Wir haben viel gesehen und unser Fahrer/ unsere Agentur ist auf alle Wnsche eingegangen und hat versucht uns alles zu ermglichen um uns eine unvergessliche Reise zu bescheren. Es war wirklich toll mit einem privaten Fahrer unterwegs zu sein und nicht in einer Gruppe. Die Unterknfte, besonders das Oak Ray Regency in Kandy und das Athgira River Camp in Udawalawe haben uns gut gefallen. Der letzte Aufenthalt im Tangerine Beach Hotel hat ins persnlich nicht so zugesagt und wir haben auf 4 Tage verkrzt und stattdessen eine Nacht in Colombo gebucht. Alles in allem knnen wir die Reise und die Reiseagentur Hot Tourism sehr empfehlen!

This was my first cycling tour with Exodus and it was absolutely excellent. Sri Lanka is a fascinating country with lots to see. The cycling was great - some of it was pretty tough - especially the day to Nuwara Eliya but doable for anyone with a good level of fitness. The scenery across the country was beautiful and the food was fabulous. The accommodation was generally of a very high standard. Two places were fairly basic but we only stayed in them for 1 night each so it was fine. This is a great trip and if you’re considering booking it you should - you won’t regret it!

Really interesting trip. It has a great balance with plenty of cycling but still having time to explore our destinations and some time to relax too. It's a beautiful country with friendly local people. The hotels were generally of a good standard and although 2 were not great, they certainly weren't awful. I appreciated that sometimes in getting from A to B you have to go through less developed areas. I enjoyed the food immensely, especially when we went to smaller restaurants away from the hotels.

Fantastic! I concur with Rui, Steve and Irena of Oct 14, that this trip is indeed an amazing experience; the country is so lovely and it entirely lived up to expectations. Sri Lanka is so friendly and still seems to like us Brits which is novel! So many wonderful welcomes and hellos wherever we pedalled. The scenery beautiful, never a dull moment. And the group leader, Suresh, was I agree, incredible going above and beyond the call of duty both day and night; he obliged everyone's merest whim, and ensured that all our needs were catered for.
