Ayubowan! My name is Evanjalin. I grew up in Colombo, in the west of Sri Lanka, and I moved to Germany when I was 16 years old. Spending four years of my teenage life in Muenster, Germany was what made me fall in love with travel and tourism. I'm now back in Sri Lanka and passionate about helping people fall in love with this country. I absolutely love researching new destinations and exploring new places I have never been to before. There is nothing quite like stepping out of a plane to explore an area for the first time. Apart from tourism, you can also consider me as a real foodie — I just love food! Evanjalin's Best Travel Experience

Trekking to Bambarakanda Waterfall was one of the most memorable trips that I have been on. The waterfall is nestled in the Balangoda area amidst lush greenery and mountains, a perfect spot for nature lovers. My friends and I organized the trip as a getaway, and we started the journey with a late-night train to our starting location. To be more even more adventurous, we decided to avoid the typical hotel stay and, instead, camp in the tropical grounds overlooking the waterfalls. Despite the risky paths and narrow routes, our journey was filled with excitement and pure fun. We were also very fortunate to witness the stunning sunrise the next morning. It was something I will never forget!
