Wonderful vacation! Vietnam surprised me - it was so much different than what I had heard in the past. From north to south, it's a beautiful in it own way. I loved bavi eco tour, we had the chance to bike around the village, learn to make spring rolls. Hoi An is also a beautiful town with a unique culture. Its architecture gives off a "movie about the past" vibe, and the paddle boat trip was a lot of fun. Since my friend is passionate about history, Cuchi tour was her favorite, while the Mekong Delta tour was mine, i love the people there. I think Vietnam has a lot more to experience, I really looking forward to my next trip to Vietnam.

We thought six days might feel too short, but it was the perfect length to get a real taste of Vietnam. Loved the food tour in Hanoi and the magical night on the bay.

Highlights included exploring the temples around Siem Reap, trekking through the rice terraces in SaPa, cruising in Halong Bay, and touring the Mekong Delta. Only had one hiccup with communication but overall the places we stayed were amazing and fun Asia is a little gritty – it is a more challenging vacation than Europe for sure – so you will need help with transfers and getting around . English is not as expected and a lot of people do not speak it ( Europe English is a second language.
