Langtang trek Tours in Winter

My husband and I just completed the 8-day Langtang Valley trek! We were guided by the amazing expert Ramesh, and our superman porter (and skillful jeep driver) Suresh. We had such a great time and are feeling very accomplished. We feel fortunate to have had these fellows with us as they made the trip so much more fun and interesting. They were patient, funny and never seemed annoyed at my very slow rate of both ascent and descent. Ramesh guided my husband Kevin up Tsergo Ri at an early hour while Suresh showed me around Kenjin Gompa and the yak cheese factory, and helped me while I had some mild altitude sickness. I felt like we were traveling with pals rather than hired hands. The trek itself was amazing. We had perfect weather and made excellent time despite my slowness! We ended up finishing a day early, and so on Ramesh’s suggestion we headed to Chisopani so we could ring in the new year with a mountain sunrise. It ended up being cold and cloudy, but keeping warm at the campfire talking with the guys was one of my most memorable moments of the trip. Myself and my partner had a fantastic trip, spending a week on the Tamang Heritage Trail. Our guide, Megendra, was an expert at navigating the trails, connecting with locals and telling us the history of the area. The business owner was very helpful in getting our trip arranged in only one day, and for a very fair price. I can definitely recommend Megendra and his company to anyone looking for a fantastic Nepal trek!

It’s my first time in Nepal. Just been an amazing experience. Langtang Valley Trek is a heaven on earth full of diversity between the treks through the forrest, following the river and snow-capped mountains. I was also able to see different animals along the way. Great place to experience. Shiva planned all of my trip and I’m most thankful for that. He listened to my requests and took in consideration what I wanted to do and the time that I had. With all of that he prepared a perfect and personalized itinerary. Up next I will definitely visit Everest Base Camp and suggest Everyone don't miss this opportunity.

Well organized trek with a nice guide and porter. The views were amazing. Somewhat cold as I did the trek in December but compensated by the reduced number of tourists. Overall an amazing experience.

Heritage Treks & Travel went above and beyond to facilitate our trek in such a short time frame. We only had 4.5 days to do the trek and they even managed to get us a full day in Kathmandu as well. Great service and very friendly. Highly recommended!

I would have to say that this guide system does everything that you could ever ask for. I took three different tours with the Nepal Lion Trek and Tours, as being my first time in Nepal they did a lot to help me get around the city and picked me up from the airport free of charge. They were even so considerate as to keep me in a hotel while I was between tours. My first tour was an eight day trek that took me up into the Himalayan mountain city of Langtang, the entire experience was utterly breathtaking. I am so glad that they gave me the opportunity to walk among the natives in that area while having a kind and considerate guide with me at every step. They really do put a lot of thought and preparation into everything they do. The guide they had chosen for me was very helpful, patient, and fun. I could not recommend a trip like that enough. The sites and views all along the mountain all the way to Langtang was so elegant and powerful that I could never forget, topped off with the amazing view of Chergeri, I was stunned by how much there is to see in one trip, all organized by the Nepal Lion Treks and Tour. After my trekking to Langtang I did a three day-two night tour in a beautiful resort in Chitwan, called the Hermitage Resort. Coming from the United States I have to say they have one of the best service staff I have ever seen, they were always one step ahead of my needs and the food was always prepared well and with a smile. In the three days I spent in Chitwan I did things that I would never have thought I could do. This included a jungle walk where we saw fresh tiger footprints, a rhino and her baby, and even a group of swinging monkeys. I did many other things in the three days like dance culture program, elephant safari, and a sunset walk which were equally as amazing as the first jungle walk. I was honestly astonished by how kind and forward thinking the staff at the resort was, and how much they take your needs and desires into consideration in everything they do. Once again another great experience put together by the kind Nepal Lion Trek and Tours organization. My last tour was a day tour that took me around Kathmandu, and I have got to say that I was completely blown away by how much culture and variety there is in one city. Every street, every house, and every block was over flowing with the vast culture and rich atmosphere of how much there is to see in Kathmandu. I was so fortunate to have signed up with the Nepal Lion Treks and Tours because of how much knowledge they have on this beautiful country and how much they have to offer you. They were always thinking of you first and will only offer you the best experiences around Nepal for a considerate price tag. I know that in the future when I take my family to the great country of Nepal I will be booking with this group because I know I will get the most out of my money.
