Great experience

We had a pleasure to do Langtang Gosaikunda trek organised by the local tour operator. Trek was very well organised by Indira and Hari. Our guide Shiva and porter Lamsaro where very knowledgeable and courteous at all the times. Trek was quite a demanding but we are happy that we did this. Thank you very much.

Langtang Valley Trek

Bikash was a great guide and everything ran smoothly. Great experience and simpler than organising yourself if youre time limited. We carried our own bags - it was challenging at points but still really fun overall.

VIP treatment!

No complaints! Professional and friendly team. I booked for a group tour but in the end I was alone with the guide and porter - great guys who looked after me extremely well. Loved the trip - will be back for more:)

Amazing trek with fantastic guide and company

We did the Langtang Trek starting in late August through early September. The trek was beautiful, accessible for first time multi-day trekkers like ourselves, and allowed us to experience many different climates and cultures in the short time we had. Technically, anything before mid-September is monsoon season, which brings a few added challenges, but it turned out fantastic. Although it rained every day, the more intense rain was mostly overnight or luckily when we stopped for meals (we never got soaked). The clouds/fog kept us cooler while trekking long distances (the sun is hot!) and made it that much more mystical/special when the clouds broke and snow-capped peaks were revealed in the distance. We also had a lot more peace and tranquility on the trail. We saw only a handful of other trekkers in the first 6 days (many more the last 2) and were most nights the only people are our guest house. This was perfect for the type of trek we wanted. Our guide Ramesh was, simply put, world-class. He brought 20 years of experience as a guide across many Nepal treks, spoke good English, and was incredibly caring / clearly looking out for us the entire time. He would lead or follow depending on the area of the trail; make sure we took the more scenic route out and (when we wanted to) a quicker route back; stop us 15-30 min before or after the primary towns to optimize for better food, hot showers, and western toilets; helped us navigate safe/unsafe food items and order effectively with guest house owners who didn't speak great English; start us earlier when (and only when) it would allow for better views or cooler temperatures on a steep climb; and brought a great deal of knowledge about mountain vs. western remedies when my wife had a stomach illness and sinus headache at high altitudes. Ramesh also seemed to perfectly balance spending time with us and letting us have alone time to decompress. We always felt in great hands with Ramesh, and would highly recommend him as a guide to anyone trekking in Nepal.

Langtang Circuit - Great Trek

The Langtang Circuit trek was wonderful. The owner Chhatra was very helpful and understanding when we were booking our trek. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The trek itself was beautiful- sweeping mountain views, beautiful valleys, and green rainforests. It's also challenging, so make sure you prepare yourself physically. August/September can be cloudy and rainy but the trail was also very peaceful! I only saw 8-10 other tourists during the two weeks. Our guide Chandra was amazing: flexible, patient, and informative. He really tried to give us the best experience possible. Even our porter Mundep was very friendly, always laughing, dancing, or teaching us Nepali words. Great trek, great company, I'm very pleased with my experience!!

Langtang Valley View trekking, after earthquake. Still possible!

Langtang National Park was the third most popular trekking region in Nepal after the Annapurna and Everest regions. This changed considerably after the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal on the 28th of April 2015. Langtang Valley is now considered to be ground zero of the earthquake. Just a few days after the earthquake the already damaged village of Langtang was hit by an enormous landslide and got completely swept away. And just like that, the biggest village of the region ceased to exist. Theres been a lot of rumors and lies online on the worlds biggest traveling forums and guidebooks, that since the earthquake happened the Valley is closed for trekking. Thats complete rubbish!!! The Valley is open for trekking!! The locals that still live in the Valley were almost begging us to tell our friends and other tourists we met that Langtang Valley is 100% open for business. The locals say that the only way they can continue their life is if tourists come back to Langtang Valley. We had just return back from a fantastic trek to Langtang valley view. We were four friends trekking to Langtang along with a guide assigned by local tour specialists. We had enjoyed the trek with good sceneries of the mountains, Langtang valleys and the landscape of this region. Have an opportunity to know about the different ethnic groups and the culture of the.
