My Exodus trip to Kerala and Tamil Nadu was truly amazing in so many ways. The beautiful scenery, lush green and full of fascinating wild life, the range and style of vegetarian food, and the overwhelming gentleness and warmth of the local people were all way beyond my expectations. Our outstanding guide Biju was at the heart of it all with his supreme organizational skills, endless information on every topic imaginable and, above all, his patience and kindness towards everyone in the group. The itinerary was perfect as it exposed us to so many very different aspects of the region: rural and urban settings, magnificent Hindu temples as well as Christian churches, historically important public buildings but also the homes of ordinary people going about their daily lives. A solo trip to India could never have offered such an enlightening and wide ranging experience as we gained from this trip. I would highly recommend it to others especially for a first trip to India and if they are as lucky as we were they may even have Biju as a guide too.

We could not have wanted more from the trip or Sam our leader, both exceeded expectations. The accommodation was by and large good however a few venues could have been better located (particularly Cochin) and the home stay was very basic but what do you expect?! Cycling really made it an immersive experience and given the heat and humidity, the amount of cycling was judged right. I must finish by saying Sam the leader was excellent in his patience and wonderfully sincere and informed commentary.

This trip was great and I highly recommend it. Sam, our guide, was excellent as was his support team. We saw and experienced sights and locations that we could not have done so on our own.

A well planned itinerary that offered a full on daily challenge and experience. Cycling through the coastal villages and towns, exploring the backwaters before reaching the tea and rubber plantations. Cycling occurred in the morning and was sufficiently challenging for the group. Excellent leadership with a strong and consistent support team at all times. A great trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cycling tour of a tiny gem of India called Kerala. We saw Indians at work and were humbled by their hard work and joyful manner. The traffic was a bit crazy, but we felt so safe with the support of our driver and mechanics. Glorious hills and seascape. We had time for rest, swimming and shopping too. Thank you. A fantastic introduction to India and Exodus. Having been recommended to travel with Exodus by a friend, I chose the "Tropical South" - a two week tour of the most southern States in India: Kerala and Tamil Nadu.  It was the best holiday decision I have made.
