Guilin Tours and Trips

I went on a 5d/4n Yangtze River cruise from Yichang to Chongqing. The cruise ship was relatively new and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There was enough food selection to cater for everyone’s tastes. The crew members were very helpful and polite, one (Cindy) even helped me get the food for every meal. There were also enough activities on board like movies, spa etc if one opted out of land excursions. The land excursions were very enjoyable. Despite my temporary restricted mobility, I was assisted in getting on and off the ship and when the wheelchair was required, the staff members offered to help in pushing it. Thalia from AOT had been exceptionally helpful, advising me on which land excursion was not suitable for me and even sent a requested foldable stool to the hotel for my use in the shower on our extended 2-day stay in Chongqing post cruise. Overall, this cruise had been a very good and pleasant experience for me.

The essence of Guilin tour was absolutely fantastic, and our guide Lily made it truly unforgettable. She is warm, knowledgeable, takes care of everything and responded to all questions and wishes. Lily shared fascinating insights about the region and local life. We experienced both the stunning nature and the local culture. I like free and easy trips. But for some local detailed arrangements related to itinerary/activities in various countries, it can be rather challenging. My trip to Yangtze River cruise and travel between Chongqing and Yichang involved details that I am not familiar. Olivia helped me to do the booking, train ticketing, route planning etc. The trip was smooth going without any hiccups. I arranged a group tour in Xiamen with Asia Odyssey in March, 2025. Zeva was my agent to organise the tour, and she was excellent - we were communicating for several weeks, sorting out every detail, she answered all my questions and was very patient with me, to make sure I would visit everything I wanted to and for the best price for me. Thank you, Zeva! My guide Zico was also very good, he answered all my questions with a lot of detail and provided a steady stream of interesting information during the eight days (not too much, not too little) and providing recommendations for additional things to see and do in the evening. The driver was also very good, I felt safe the entire time. Definitely worth a second tour with them next year.
