Trafalgar 'Best of France' was fantastic. If you want to see France in depth, then this is the trip for you. Accommodation excellent and central. Concerns for a large group were not warranted as it ran smoothly, and the mix of nationalities was entertaining. Highly recommend this itinerary and Trafalgar for an amazing trip. September, 2025

The trip was great ! Saw all of the famous locations in Paris, good lesson in history, nice hotels, great breakfasts, our guide did an amazing job, good synopsis of locations around the country, really enjoyed the wine region, no complaints.

Fast paced tour that provided a wide overview of France. You will see a lot, but be prepared for extended time on your coach as you cover so much country. Personally, I experienced the best meals included with the optional excursions. Our schedule for some stops was quite tight.....we almost missed the cemetary at Omaha Beach due to heavy traffic. Be prepared for lots of walking, some of which is on hills. Lots of cobblestone paths. But all in all, I felt lucky to have experienced so much of France in the time allotted. Recommended.

If one needs to explore “The Best of France” literally, this is the itinerary that one needs to opt for from Trafalgar. Immaculately tailored and will give you a feel of real French Flavour across the Southern France including part of North Western France, covering both Mediterranean and Atlantic Coasts. The medieval country side, covering Provance and Normandy, the vineyards and the other cities like Lyon, Bordeaux and Monaco ( a separate country and one of the smallest ) including Hondarribia, a bordering sleeping town in Spain, bordering France will definitely make you feel, Paris is not the “be all and end all” of France. There is more to explore beyond Paris. As an Indian, learned the cultures, the local lifestyle, the French cuisine, not to talk about the French Rose’ and Wines. This trip of ours proved ( and it happened in the insistence of my best half, Chandrima, France wasn’t a cliche’ ! “Emily in Paris” justified that. And now it is the “MOOKERJEEs in FRANCE”. Trafalgar excelled in all parameters. Kudos to Ms. our TD and , the ever bubbly man behind the wheels and definitely not the least our fellow guests from USA and Australia, who made this two weeks trip a memory to treasure for a life time. And is an Encyclopaedia in herself.

We loved all the highlights of France. Lunch at Saint-Emilion a small family owned winery was amazing. Over night stay in a château fantastic. Exploring the Château de Villandry gardens beautiful. Plus many more highlights would highly recommend Best of France

Honestly the country of France was the star of the show. Having said that though, Trafalgar really gave us a first class experience. The hotels, coach, driver, tour guides, and of course Emma our lovely Hostess were all fabulous. Your selection of sites to show us was very comprehensive and diverse.
