Essaouira Cultural, religious and historic sites Trips

Excellent holiday but perhaps the long day driving to see the roman ruins and the vineyard could be missed out. It was a considerable amount of driving for a 30 min tour of the ruins and a 10 min tour of the vineyard. Another night at Ouzoud would perhaps be better. The local guides were excellent, in particular the two in Marrakech and Essaouria. Very insightful. Riads and Dars were all excellent (with much needed air conditioning). The meals in the family homes were a lovely insight into local culture with mouth watering food.

A great trip, varied itinerary, lots of great food and lovely hotels. Morocco is a beautiful country with lots to see and do. This trip gives a good overview of the main highlights and places of interest. Our guide Bob was great, super helpful and professional. He has lots of experience and knowledge about his country and culture. I enjoyed seeing Chefchaouen the most on the trip, it’s beautiful and less busy compared to some of places we visited, the traditional lunch with a family was fantastic, one of the best meals we had on the tour. The lady was an excellent cook and she went to a lot of trouble to make sure we were comfortable. The wine tasting and cookery lesson were fun. I will definitely visit Morocco again.

This was great tour and our guide Ibrahim went the extra mile and made it very special. His overall knowledge is amazing. The drivers also were very good. I loved the variety of places we visited and the Riads were beautiful. I can’t wait to go back to this fabulous country. Sue April 2025

From beginning to end, our 5-day journey was an incredible experience. The high point? The hot air balloon ride, camel ride, and quad riding were definitely highlights. An adventure seeker's dream comes true when they can ride a quad bike across desert dunes, swing softly on a camel's back, or fly above stunning vistas in a hot air balloon! The tour was absolutely unforgettable. Anouar's attention to detail and expertise is impeccable. His passion for his country and throughout knowledge of the route made this adventure more interesting and personalized. And he even arranged for a surprise birthday cake at the desert camp that was the highlight of the night filled with dance, laughter and fun.
