day 1 - Casablanca arrival & airport transfer
We will pick you up from the airport in Casablanca and transfer you to your hotel in the city. You are free for the rest of the day.
day 2 - Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah – Tangier
The journey starts with a sightseeing tour of Casablanca. Visit Mohammad V Square, which dates back to 1916, as well as Hassan II Mosque, which was completed in 1993 and designed by Michel Pinseau. The mosque is considered the second-largest in Africa after the grand mosque of Algiers.
The journey continues to Rabat, where you will visit the Unesco World Heritage site of Oudaya as well as the Hassan Tower. You will also visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum, home to the tombs of three kings.
Travel past the well-preserved, 15th-century town of Asilah and call it a day on reaching Tangier.
day 3 - Tangier – Chfechaouen
The whitewashed hillside medina of Tangier is home to Dar el Makhzen, a palace of the sultans that's now a museum of Moroccan artifacts. There is also the American Legation Museum, which showcases the diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco, located in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate. Visit the Hercules Caves, where the hero is said to have allegedly rested during his labor.
The finale stop of the day is Chefchaouen, known for the blue-washed buildings of its old town. Enjoy some free time on reaching your destination. Stay overnight in Chefchaouen.
day 4 - Chefchaoun – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Today, you will head for Fes via the ancient city Volubilis, home to ruins built during the time of the Romans, as well as the imperial city of Meknes, known for its famous Bab Mansour gate.
day 5 - Guided sightseeing tour of Fes
Today's itinerary allows you to explore Fes and discover its highlights like Bou Inania Madrasa as well as the Mosque and University of al-Qarawiyyin, widely regarded as the oldest continuously operating higher educational institution in the world.
day 6 - Fes – Ifran – Merzouga
Leave Fes early in the morning and head for the Merzouga Desert via Ifran. A city that is known for its alpine-style architecture and ski slopes, the landscape of Ifran is covered by cedar forests that are home to Barbary macaques. You will also travel past Midelt, the commercial center of a vast agricultural hinterland as well as the beautiful Ziz Valley and Erfoud. Spend the night in Merzouga.
day 7 - Merzouga Desert
Enjou a spectacular desert sunrise and ride a camel. This is followed by a visit to the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Call it a day while riding a camel to your desert camp while enjoying sunset views of the desert.
day 8 - Merzouga – Boumalne Dades
The drive takes you through Errissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet, as well as the charming city Tinghir. Along the way, you will come across a series of limestone river canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountain. Call it a day on reaching your accommodation in Boumalne Dades.
day 9 - Boumalne Dades – Marrakech
Leave Boumalne Dades after breakfast and drive to Marrakech. Visit the 17th-century kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, considered to be one of the finest examples of Moroccan earthen clay architecture.
Aït Benhaddou is a historical site along the former caravan route between the desert and Marrakech. Having taken in the sights of this kasbah, you will continue your drive via the Tishka Pass, reaching an elevation of 2260 meters. Stay overnight in Marrakech.
day 10 - Guided visit of Marrakech & travel to Essaouira
Discover Marrakech with your tour guide and see its highlights like the stunning Bahia Palace, the royal necropolis called the Saadian Tombs and Jemaa el-Fnaa, the central square. Transfer to Essaouira after the guided tour is over. Stay overnight in Essaouira.
day 11 - Essaouira – Marrakech
Today, you might want to discover the coastal region of Essaouira, popular for windsurfing, and see its major landmarks. We will drive you back to Marrakech by early evening.
day 12 - Airport transfer
Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport in Marrakesh. We also have the option of Casablanca airport transfer.
